I really love the sound of the old Yamaha SK20, but the lack of MIDI and CV control meant that it was never used as much as I wanted to use it. Well, Tubbutec comes to the rescue, because they have developed and have on offer a MIDI upgrade kit, that will make it possible for your Yamaha SK15, SK20, SK30 or SK50D to have MIDI capabilities! Now that's something well worth exploring :)
In this video I show step by step the installation process, and initial "signs of life" testing. In the follow up video, I will be doing a user guide and in-depth testing of the Tubbutec upgrade kit, to see what it can offer to the Yamaha SK owners.

I loved watching this, it's a pleasure to see you so excited! it's so good that these old bits of kit can now be retro fitted with midi, I really wish I had kept my Juno 6 as they do a mod for that too!

It's the opposite, when tired, my left eye goes squinty. So, just tired, nothing else :)
