- In this video, I install ARM's 2" relocated turbo inlets along with a set of their 3" catless downpipes. I was blown away by the performance gains and jet-like noises from the turbos. Get all the performance parts to max out your N54 stock turbos from:

Dang, that is an install I wouldn't wish on my worst enemy.
Definitely a long process
What a melt you must be it's just mechanics undo bolts do bolts up drop the front subframe do your job be happy so damn easy
My car is single but I still love these stock turbos builds.
Thanks man, entire set of bolt-ons from ARM just got delivered
Precision Raceworks sells an extension for the coolant wire. It’s $20 & it plug n play.✌🏻🏁
what about for the pcv wiring?
@@jessn54 PCV wiring❓
@@jessn54 Oh that little plug that plugs into that plastic 45?
@@murk1352 yea that
@@murk1352 yes
This was needed. I have to do mine. Thank you 🙏🏼
You did good, my man. I just picked up a 2008 335i e92 6mt for $4,000. Needs all of it. Maintenance & Mods. FML🤣
Yes, lol! The maintenance cost on the n54 is a killer!
Now I finished watching check my community tab. All you need is the ARM larger intercooler. Also my intake and turbos sound like they are open induction.
ARM full bolt on video coming soon
Great video! Definitely went in depth with everything! Hopefully I can get mine finished up! I just need to buy the inlet adapters!
Thanks man, really tried to make it as detailed as possible.
@rosstrittler Hey brother hope all is well! At the 30:35 mark. Can you give me a detailed list of what you needed to get extra? I want to do mine like that! I was just now able to get the rear inlet hose on 😫 Talk about a PITA!
I think the best intake for the N54 is the AFE twin dry filter intake! It’s pricey but my car ripped with that intake! It sits up top & the snorkel sits right in line to blow air into them….✌🏻🏁
Hello !
On m’a toujours dis sur le N54 que l’admission d’origine avec un filtre KN était le mieux .
Avec les doubles filtres sans boites ,quasi pas d’air (à part du chaud arrivé dedans )
@@scorpioncubain I don’t know what this says! Another thing about the AFE is you can get the blue oiled filters or the grey non oil filters, those are the ones I ran! Oil gets in the way, if the filters made good enough, you don’t need oil. Just maintain them! One more thing about the AFE in take is the polymer dual piece that the filters go on, that piece has heat shielding molded into it, so it keeps the heat out better….🔥
That exhaust mount just needs adjustment. The downpipes were very hard to get bolts on.
Yep, part of my problem was the passenger side engine mount had failed, I replaced it with a 335is mount and the gap between the downpipes and subframe increased significantly
Why does everyone say because mine is an 07 it doesn’t have an oil cooler that isn’t true at all I have an 07 e90 335i n54 and it has the sticker oil
Cooler and no it wasn’t after market I got my car from an old lady with 70k miles and all the original recites. Even has the window tint warranty and recite front the week she bought it off the lot. So they definitely did have them.
Late model vs early model 07's. Most 07's don't have them, but your car must have been manufactured close to the end of the year.
@@rosstrittler I have a 6mt e92 w/production date of 6/4/2007. Factory oil cooler as well. It’s been said in the community that the cars with the “hot weather” climate option codes came with oil coolers from factory

Should have done outlets aswell since ur there
Yep, had to take downpipes off again to do them.
Take it from me, do the viv 19t's. Best bang for buck instead of trying to do wastegate rattle fix. Get outlets also and 7" ic you can. Also when driving hard take off traction control fully or wou can snap s#it.
Thinking about the 19ts. Gonna get the rest of the bolts ons on, then I'll decide if I really want to upgrade turbos.
how the heck did you make that shield look so easy, i called it a night after fighting with the second e8 to get it off
If I remember, I struggled getting it off too.
Did you found the company that sell the connections on metal? I'm in need of that also
ARM Motorsports
You never showed where you mounted your canisters ? Also did you drop subframe to remove stock inlets ?
The cannisters I left without a bracket underneath the intake. I was going to make a bracket but the don't seem to move around at all so I just left them. And no, I did not drop the subframe to remove the inlets. All the work I did was done on camera and shown in the video.
@@rosstrittlerappreciate your response, great video nonetheless I installed mines with ease thanks to the video. Now you mean you left em under neath the intakes by the headlight, or tucked them underneath the intake manifold ?
@@1Sturdy5_ They are closer to the headlight
how did you get the screws off the braket for power steering resivor?
I didn't take the screws off the bracket. I just had some spare bolts that were laying around that were the same size and thread pitch, and I threaded them from the bottom on the new bracket.
Can u just press that clip on those connector plz 😢
That's a mean oil leak
Typical BMW engine 😮💨
Are those the 18 in M sport wheels?
They are 19in M sport's style 351 M
I have the same oil cooler, charge pipe bov, downpipes you have. just running Un relocated silicon inlets. the bank sensors for downstream cant be confused because they connect to only the correct one with different designs but dang we have the same setup almost.
I pulled my blown engine out the car so I never had issues you had with downpipes
WHATS THE NAME OF THE COMPANY WITH THE METAL FITTINGS ?
All the fittings/hardware comes with the relocated inlets package from ARM motorsports.
@@rosstrittlerdamn why didn’t mine come with it? I just finished installing them but with oem rubber adapter on the turbos
Poor gloves lol
Take the gum out of your mouth. And don’t post HP and TQ gains unless you have dyno results. Most of the advertising out there is massively over rated. Like the BMS 500whp kit, with what they sell you, you could not hit 500whp. From my experience your car is probably in the 430hp range. Especially on a stage 2 tune with no e85.
👍
Install videos are soooooo boring
