- Prior to the end of the 2020 Supercross season, we had the opportunity to visit the Flying Iron Horse Ranch located in Salt Lake City, Utah. It just so happened that the owner, Spencer Luczak, also known for his beautiful one-off project bike builds, had a 2020 KTM 350 SX-F waiting for us when we arrived at the ranch. Let us tell you, this build is nothing but a dream bike. Coming in at $36,000 in upgrades, cerakotes, and just about anything custom you could think of, this project bike is one that will turn heads anywhere it goes. Press play and take a seat because we dive deep into what this one of a kind build is made of.

To say I've never fell in love with a bike would be a lie, this has renewed just that.
I am seriously considering the 350 model 🤔...I also like the new CRF450 Works Edition too.🤔
Can relate
@@bobbysmoke6.4dzl94 get a monster yamaha
If you’re passionate enough I say spend the money!!! Don’t let dreams be dreams
The only reason to have stupid money is to spend stupid money 🤷♂️😂 Really cool to see a dream build come to life
Im so poor I can't even dream about a bike that nice😂😒
Hey Cameron Boswell we must be cousins, what's up Cuzzzin
This is such a sick build, frothing at the level of detail and care that was put into it. Talk about a labor of love and epic location!
One of a Kind...Custom Build...100 Great Work...
Cleanest KTM of 2020🔥
Issa Husqvarna, same owners but different brands.
Jeremy Felix its a ktm not a husky
That's so sweet, such a clean build! And i'm in love with the track!
That’s incredible guys! That build takes World Class to the next Galaxy.
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
this is a masterpiece built by passion 🤜🤛
I’m happy for you ! Enjoy this beautiful monster
That bike is mesmerizing, gorgeous , I can’t stop staring at it , I love it . Haven’t had a bike since I quit racing 20 years ago and I have never wanted to throw my leg over a bike since then , as I do now . I can’t get molly out of my mind.
That's one sick KTM 350SX! My favorite part of the bike is the way you guys did with the number graphics. The grey makes it stand out likes it was molded out of metal.
And, Ping, your incredible!
i spend 20k on my KTM dual sport, but i also drive it to work alot. what ever makes u happy dude
Let the great BT ride it. Won't have to change numbers
Missed opportunity to use a dirt tricks sprocket with those bolts.
imagine eating crap and wrecking it. i’d store it in the garage and just look at it like
That bike is beautiful. And that track is 😋😋
This thing is beautiful
David Pingree does a great job!
Coming from a bmx background ive always wondered why titanium spokes arnt used more in mx, saving weight on tires rims and spokes are the biggest thing that will make a bike feel light and agile.. what a bike this is
Man you did one hell of a job at picking those parts out hard work pays off
I was literally gonna comment, "this guy spends 10k on TI parts/carbon fiber JUST to powder coat the swingarm and add weight......"
HE STRIPPED THE FRAME AND THEN HAD IT+SWINGARM COATED IN A LIGHTER MATERIAL. Holy shit. Now THAT is dedication.
Beautiful bike, beautiful track.. what more could you want.
Nice build ,and attention to detail 👍👍d
Love it!
It’s actually beautiful 🤩
Masterpiece
Didnt know what to think of this. Then he said he named his bike after a Metallica song. That's a like from me
If you ride and money is no problem this all the bike you need !!!
The kashima coating is for reducing friction on the sliding parts of suspension. not for the outer tubes. the japan guys musta thought, what is this american thinking.
The kashima *is* for the fork tubes outside, although they come with kashima on the insides from the factory on Honda’s atleast. The lower coatings that reduce friction are dlc (diamond like coatings) or titanium nitrate coatings, they go on the fork and shock tubes (chrome parts).
When they coat the tube with kashima it does the inside and the outside
Kai Wendt cringe
Freaking awesome !!!
Makes me wanna dip into my 401k.
makes me love 2ts even more🤣🤙🦄
@@maverick2242 KTM/Husky is where it is at!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! they got the best 2 strokes
@@mecalpsha4473 I'd definitely rather have a yamaha 125/250 2 stroke over ktm/husqvarna and most people i know, would agree.
Majestickilla13 why? ktm and husky have more power and better suspension (stock) no question
I always thought the kayaks sss beat out the KTM stuff for years now
Shaka 🤙🏻 🤙🏻 Shaka 🤙🏻
i know nothing about dirt bikes but i like pretty things too.
Probably as close to a Factory bike as you can get, nice attention to details, 350 in the 4t is where most no pro riders should be, see so many lugging around the track on 450s can blow by on a 125 2t let alone a 250, very nice job (for a 4t) good job and can ride too. 🤙
100%. I just went to a 350 this year from my 450 and love it! I'm only 150 lbs and the 350 is perfect!
I went from a 2005 ktm 125sx to a 2020.5 ktm 450 xc-f and the 450 is like 20 lbs lighter, I cant imagine a 350s weight
Yeah but this bike needed tons of motor mods and race fuel. My 18.5 450 needs nothing and has tons of power. And I ran my 2016 to 230 hours without checking a valve.
How many pros ride the 350 ?
Red Dawn 1 Dungey rode one for his last 2 years of supercross and motocross
beautiful
Dream bike👀👀
Amazing! : )
Almost filled a lake drooling
This bike looks like something the airforce would build...stealthy and quick
True
But a little to loud
Most 350s and 450s are loud
Get Seely to give it a rip
Makes more sense than a $15,000 mountain bike
Amazing, I would give anything just to take it out for a 30 minute session!
$30,000, a lot of labor, and it's yours. I bet you could build pretty close for $8k over the cost of the bike. Some of those upgrades would be hard to feel. It's like watching a 70 inch TV vs a 65. You almost need them next to each other to see the difference.
Justin Coats maybe $15k for almost the same thing Bc that engine is completely built and high tech suspension
Justin Coats the suspension is 6k if you can even find the factory forks
Really need to watch this video with the song “my bike too lit” black rim gold hubs carbon pipes.
Time it back to back with a stock bike and see if it’s $30,000 faster
Yess money can buy happiness
made me think of a friend, Sebastian Balbuena #70. A kid from the Dominican Republic, living in Brooklyn. no money, on a dated beat up yz125, no suspension, slept in a van. took 3rd in 125c at Loretta's in 19'. no Kashima, no matching exhaust tips.
Like the *KTM ORANGE FRAME* and Orange Plastic personally - KTM/Husky got the best bikes period.
i agree
Supple, yeah that's how I like em too
Sick bike! Has anyone tried the FCP mounts on their 350 sxf?
Will a ktm sxf450 subframe fit a fc450 rockstar edition 2020
That megabomb header burns the shit out of my boots
wow great bike! what about a SM Version?
Whiskey in the Jar is Thin Lizzy's!
Damnnnnn that's a beauty 💀
Yeah. But it’s not a 2 stroke.
ENDURO is where it is at - last hold out of 2 strokes (the MX scene is one of flat line).
Lot better tho !
@@mecalpsha4473 Ride both, great fun, 4T is great, 2T is great, ideally suited to extreme trails !
If you haven’t already, go ride a new age 4 stroke. Love my 2 strokes but they’re really good.
WOW!!!
Teens would love all this expensive bling.
How come we don't see this build at the pro MC races on ESPN ?
The smoke graphics where can I pick that up at?
My other half would leave if I even mention spending 30 grand on a dirt bike....hey that just might work!
Win and win
Jealous asf.Once i get my fork swap done and shock I will be happy.I love the ti parts and the levers.Snazzy.
Sick bike. I love customizing and aftermarket goodies. Can’t help but wonder if one took the 450 and spent $1,000-2,000, it would be almost the same at but smoke this one. I guess this is another example of law of diminishing returns. Slight performance upgrade for a ton of money.
title should say "more or less free"
With all the tuning done to the 350 engine, how different is the ride from a stock 450?, I know it's lighter. I used to think just buying a stock dirt bike is a big deal (and it is at around 10k), but this is a whole other level. I wonder how much faster this bike is over a lap compared to a more stock bike-maybe just ECU, suspension and exhaust done on the stock version. The build looks amazing though, and the attention to detail is second to none.
❤️❤️❤️
My gawd. 🤤🤤🤤🤤
I'm gonna cry if someone would build this for me.
Great bike!
Has Ping been with Vital for a long time or is he new to vital? sorry ive been outta the scene for a couple years and i bunch of things changed, just cant remember lol
What exhuast are you using bro
There are more videos of how this bike came together on our page.
Definitely about to check them out.. New Subscriber !
are any of these special builds for sale? if so, where do i sign up.
i'm saving this vid to look back on when i become homeless
Beautiful custom bike I would love to hire this guy to build a custom Honda 250 for me how do I get in contact? just imagine how much it would cost to race this bike and keep it in this pristine condition for a entire year 🤯! You would have to buy a back up parts for the back up parts for this bike🤯🤔😯! That's no longer a 30grand build! It's probably more like a 90grand build 😯! Beautiful beautiful bike though with that thing even be raced
muantap
👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
Now how do I win it?
What bars are those?
Jim Haeseker is the man! #Haeskerracingengines is working some magic on my motor :D
Who is the supplier of the titanium spokes ? Cool bike 👍
High comp piston and removing the filter screen is reliable? I'm worried high comp reduces rod bearing life and filter screen removal would reduce life of the engine as a whole, or at least reduce peak performance life
aftermarket / high comp piston is not as heavy as the oem piston. That reduces the workload on the bearings.
I wish they would make a 350 two stroke. I like four strokes but They cost way to much to maintain.
they dont really
What's the hp on this?
It’s called a “Shaka”🤙🏽 not hang loose! Lol!
-local guy from Hawaii
its called Hang loose in other Countrys as a Shaka sign. Educate yourself local in Hawaii. Noob
Gumi Slauh it’s called hang loose as a Shaka sign? Ok buddy🤙🏽
30k on a bike I’m sorry I don’t see it
Island Tv808 they always claim it’s in the suspension, 10k suspension or something stupid like that. Only the best of the best would notice the less friction in the suspension, it’s basically 10k for them to look cooler.
@@honda8192 Yes it is, and yes they do.
@@honda8192 no bike parts cost this much....ther charging just for the tech......#partsformugs#
I’m guessing it’s not the first time , u not seeing something . I have the same feeling as you , but what I don’t see is ur relevance .
@@reddawn1487 Why do you immediately go to being shitty?
If the rider wins over and over again i guess it pays for it self
Good to see a non orange KTM......
Who the F gave this a thumbs down!!!
Can those spokes be purchased or are they custom?
30,000 dollar is real price?
i like the ktm orange. not seeing it on the 350 sx-f kinda a downer but i still would shred the bike no matter what
Could of bought 4 brand new bikes for that price and now you got 3 extra bikes for your friends. Or could of bought 15 used bikes. All better options than spending 30k on a bike meant to be thrown around
Can’t believe a dirt bike can cost 30k.
Warp 9 wheels..........
the wiring is stock
Motor city spark...if you can't find a cr250 one
that bike is fucking beautiful
For 30k it better fly
Why would you do all that to a 350?!?!! Why not just get a 450
It’s blowing money to blow money..
Am I high or are those forks bent.. 10:49
Is it smart to invest 30k into a dirt bike? Will he see a return on this?
No he will not make this back this is an insane amount of money spent on a bike you could get 3 of these for 30k and they would probably ride the same as this one
