As a person who lives in Philippines, I am very proud to see that the location, Cebu, and the skatepark named Pajara which is showed in the video, is where alot of amazing skaters are. I quit skating just a month ago since I sold my set to get my phone fixed, it would be nice to get back to skating with friends again. Thanks for making videos of this place 😇, keep up brother and hope to see more soon.

There is a rise of skateparks in the Philippines, but admittedly not enough :) Filipinos are really good skaters but most lack the resources to do proper skating. They learn on the streets and for some reason it seems like they're never hurt during a bail, except if they have an actual broken bone lol. Random street kids will watch and learn, try to borrow a board, and next thing you know they're riding full speed and doing ollies. A lot of initiatives are being done for free skate clinics and free equipment and it's really good, but once skating is considered a full blown sport here and it's given enough attention I think Filipinos will be unstoppable. Great video man, keep it up and stay safe on your travels!

bro next time to visit the philippines again here are some of world class skateparks in the philippines in Luzon we have a Tagaytay skatepark ( asia's largest skatepark ) , Baler skatepark, Gomo skatepark, Backyard skatepark, CWC skatepark. In Visayas they have a newly opened skatepark the Talisay Skatepark & soon to be opened the Ormoc City skatepark & in Mindanao they have a Davao skatepark

I just check the talisay skatepark because im in lapu lapu, brah, if thats a world class skatepark, then my local skatepark in mexico is burnside skatepark. i saw in google maps there is a skatepark in lapu lapu but looks abandoned. It sucks being here honestly, as a transition skater. But i guess here in PH skateboarding is just getting started, and it may take 20 years to have good skateparks with bowls and all that.

the filipinos are good because they go through actual obstacles on a daily basis (no skateparks, no decent sidewalks, security guards, no protection, etc)
