I had a 23 books to read in 2023. I did not do well. I think I read like three or four. But this month I want to read a lot of shorter books I have on my shelf. So far the order is novella or a short novel (as in 300 pages the max), poetry collection, a nonfiction (and reading more nonfiction was also one of my goals that I didn't really achieve), and a short story collection. I am currently at the end of the second cycle and reading From the Depths and Other Strange Tales of the Sea. The most recent story, From the Depths, was easily the best story and I was actually into it which I cannot say for this collection as a whole. Next I plan to, well continue reading really, The Last Tale of the Flower Bride because I feel like some flowery writing.
I've only read three books this month so I've got the rest of my December TBR to finish so fingers crossed 🤞 I get it finished 😊😊

Cool choices, I had set myself a reading challenge of 72 books and read 102, so that was exciting but next year I think I'm going to take it slow and not really try to read that many because I might have just slightly overwhelmed myself lol, but we shall see. Also it would be interesting to see a vlog on Iron Flame, I will probably reread it sometime just because I notice a lot of theories out there and I felt like I just didn't read the same book lol.
