“Louder Then Bombs” is one of the very few songs BTS have never performed live. They’ve performed probably 95% of their entire discography at least once, but never that song!
Also Paradise 😢 These two are fan favorites and most anticipated on stage 😭
I'm the biggest paradise and louder than bombs truther. and I WILL get that song performed live someday even if it's the last thing I do so @ bts y'all better be ready darlings
If or when they perform them , it will be historical becoz i think songs like louder than bombs are extremely difficult to perform live . I don't think anyone other than bts can be able to do that

Lol, just a correction guys, it's Gayo!! These episodes are really so fun!! They also had a show called BTS Gayo and Gayo basically is K-pop so they had to guess other k-pop songs or even games about their songs too, there's only 15 episodes but it's really fun if you ever wanna watch it as well!!!

I JUST rewatched all the Gayo episodes and I laughed so hard each episode. I forgot how wild they used to be. Too much energy lol. The episodes are all on Weverse and are pretty short - I'd love if they watched them too!

Everything about Louder than bomb makes it one of THE BEST BTS song in their discography. The song, the vocals, the rapline, the lyrics especially talking about how void they feel sometimes and about how they struggle admist all the success. Its just so addicting. Once Namjoon even said they haven't performed it coz ITS SO HARD TO SING. And you guys will know it too when you listen to it. All 7 members just go all-in in that song. It just feels like heaven. Armys have been waiting patiently for them to perform this one day. We all have decided that we all will cry our hearts out when we hear that song being performed lol. IDK ABOUT OTHERS I WILL DEFINITELY CRY THO

I think it’s super cool that you guys became an army because of run bts and the members personalities rather than their music. It’s also great that you guys have been getting a lot more into their music.
This is their studio. This was filmed during Covid. They had their dance practice FIRE in this same room.
Also, not to diminish RM's role as a lyricist, please remember that j-hope and Suga each have about 145 song credits to their name and are responsible for a lot of the lyrics in Bangtan's discography too.

I remember when they put up the survey, there was so much chaos on Army twitter because nobody knew what it was for and we thought they were compiling the set list for the next concert. And that "want to see on stage" question had people fighting in the trenches because Louder than Bombs and Paradise had divided the fandom into two😅

I feel like sometimes you get confused about when things are filmed and when things have come out, possibly because you watch things kinda out of order. This run episode was filmed in April 2021, so just before Butter came out, almost 3 years after Idol came out, 1.5 years after the LY SY Concert was held

Yup. Extremely underrated and unpopular, but there's a song called "Could you turn off your cell phone" on Dark and Wild which is among my favorites and they have never sang it live too.

Louder than bombs is a very atmospheric song and it’s never been sung live. Hence why so many want it live.
31:38 you can listen to the official audio on UA-cam too, so you don't give the views to the lyric videos, which what they do is cool and helpful to a lot but if you can give the views and streams to BTS and the official thing is always better!!!

You have NO idea how much we cried when BTS was SO suprised about Louder Than Bombs 😭 We've been hoing and begging for a live performance of it since it came out and it wasn't even on their radar!!
Our fandom tends to like their slower songs more because those are the ones that help us the most in difficult times. I can't even count how many times magic shop, mikrokosmos, spring day, answer: love myself, let go, zero o'clock, the truth untold, epiphany, and so many others with comforting lyrics, have saved me.

MAMA 2017 (Mic drop) and the rest of the years too. Also, last perf on MAMA is Hobi's solo which is so cool!!
Just a fun fact, they don't have to rent any studio with their current buildings, their building have seven floor basements and 19 floors. That's why they've been doing a lot of Run in white studio. They have just about anything in the building including three floor gyms, cafes, museums, tons of studios, saloons, and green space.

i had a surprisingly similar journey with you guys actually in that I became an army through one of the run bts episodes (specifically the whisper game one) in 2018. it was the first thing that I saw of them along with the dance practice of go go in their halloween costumes.😂

Yeah butter wasn't out at the point they shot this episode, the editing gets done later and by then butter was out so they uses it in the intros and outros

28:35 I guessed Boy With Luv cus it's the song that made me army, but also because iirc 2019 is the year that BTS really really blew up. It was their first daesang sweep and it was also the year they sold out wembley
they could have easily sold out stadiums in late 2018 in the first leg of the LY tour (Wembley, rosebowl etc were all part of the second leg of the tour aka LY: Speak Yourself that began after bwl and mots persona release) instead of doing 3-4 shows nearly back to back in the bigger arenas, straining themselves and their bodies so much.
but I understand why the tannies and their staff were nervous to take that step and do stadium shows from the beginning of the LY tour. they were growing so much from 2017 to 2019 but everything was still so uncertain because of how fast they were blowing up everywhere and we know it was both exciting and scary for the guys. that's kinda the same situation with yoongi doing arenas. The staff encouraged him to do stadiums but Yoongi himself wasn't sure if he could sell them out on his own. Which is so preposterous to hear because hello Yoongi sir do you know who you are !?!!? (there was also hobipalloza with 100k something people too like there is demand and love for them all as 7 and as individuals) but it's completely understandable like he's the first one to do a solo tour. it's a lot on his plate and a lot to take into consideration so he went with arenas. people were legit in the hunger games fighting for them tickets 😭😭😭 40-60k ppl in the queue (or even more lol I don't remember rn) for 15-20k capacity venues like that's crazyyyyyyy

I always enjoy bts reactions with you guys I have so much fun with you, you have such open attitudes and seem very genuine and it has been fun seeing you learning the music as you go along! I loved how in this one your army sides were definitely showing hahaha I also love Anpanman and Mikrokosmos! have you seen the anpanman performance video from Today Citi Music Series? it's one of my favorites! and I agree it was very cool how they have so many loved songs so they could have so many possible answers spread through the survey...it's a flex honestly because not many artists are fortunate to have such a long and loved discography!

DNA was on that list as it was BTS's first performance at an American award show (Billboard) where they won Billboard's top social artist award for the first time. It was all over global news as the first kpop group to win an American award plus beating Justin Bieber's 6-year long standing reign in that award.
(and that was how I became Army after reading a news article & became curious about this band. Army since then because their songs helped me through depression)
After getting the wider America's attention in 2017, BTS continued their momentum, hence Fake Love (2018), Boy With Luv (2019), Dynamite (2020). Since it's an international survey, most Asia & other parts of the world have heard of BTS prior to their breakthrough in wider America and many became Army during the Blood Sweat Tears era as evidence when BTS's Wings tour went beyond just Asia and into e.g. America, Brazil, Australia etc.
*They performed DNA at the amas in late 2017 while they won the top social artist award at the bbmas in the first half of 2017 but didn't perform there. They performed fake love for the first time at the bbmas next year (it was their cb stage) and began their streak of winning the top social artist award
Justice for louder than bombs, we never got a performance and when jungkook was asked to sing it on livestream, he forgot the words 😭 I hope they can give us that performance when they go on tour again

Thanks for the reaction! I just want to mention that I think the big subtitles bar is too high and it cuts off too much of the video. If there's a way for it to be smaller or have both sets of subtitles up instead, that would be better. I know you do it for accessibility and that's AWESOME of you but it really does make anything in the lower third of the screen (besides the subtitles) unseeable. Just a suggestion but one I hope you'll consider! :)
Yeah I prefer the captions big and not having the "highlight" bar than having the bar, or at least cut it right as the captions finish if you know what I mean
I hope they're aware there's an option to make the subtitles bigger

BTS NEEDSSSSSS TO PERFORM LOUDER THAN BOMBS
Louder than Bombs will never be performed live unfortunately. There is so much voice layering in that track that one voice doesn't even stop before the other voice come on. And it's layered beautifully. Plus with the reverb in it. Yeah, tech wise it would be a hard song to perform
They could do it. I'm hoping for the upcoming tour they finally do it since they know how loved and anticipated the song is. It just needs to be placed very strategically on the set list because they can't perform it after they've done ON, Idol and fire back to back for example lol they'll be out of breath so it has to be like after one of their vcr intermissions
Instead of lyric videos you can put the audio versions that are on their channel

We as armys LOVE and ADORE all the b-sides especially. Those non title track, deeper songs by them is just comfort and what actually saved a lot of us in times of distress. Ofcourse their singles and title tracks are BOPS but please listen to all the tracks of albums. There are hidden gems which will make you fall in love with their music even more. Example - Love maze, outro tear, Pied piper, respect, ugh, Paradise, Louder than bomb, Truth Untold, and literally EVERY SINGLE B-SIDE OF THEIRS !!!

MAMA is MNET asian music awards, MNET is one of the biggest korean broadcasters.
they actually attend more award shows in korea, theres too many tbh and perform there too😭 but its usually a scaled down version, with simpler effects. they go GRAND for MMA and MAMA performances so thats what is usually recced

They do forget about their songs. Army's been asking for ages for a Heartbeat performance, and during one of JK's streams when we was doing karaoke requests, everyone was spamming Heartbeat in the comments. JK was super confused and asked if BTS had a song called Heartbeat, them he googled it and was even more confused that they did and only realized a few seconds into the song what the hell we were talking about lol

As a Korean, 'Louder Than Bombs' is too deep to perform. I think it's hard to sing as themselves. So, Korean fans had opinions that did not agree with the International Army when they wanted this song.This is about having to bring out the most painful feelings when standing on stage by on stage.
We're getting it someday. Either for the next tour or at the very least a muster performance like that song is just too good to not have it performed live even once

If you watch Run BTS, you can see Taehyung wins a lot the games of intelligence, mind games or sports or Karaoke. Or he is often is part of the winning team even for cooking challenges hahah! At first, he used to play just to at least not be last. Yoongi too is like that for this part. But yeah V is so good.
