I really like this and I have been using this for a while but I'd like to know if you can add a excitable or a mod to the windows update settings in ME. This way it can update through the system without having to go to the web site all of the time. Also, can you add a driver database to get the best and latest drivers such as Nvidia, ATI, Creative Labs, chipsets, etc - stuff like that so all one needs is a NIC to connect to the update server. I really love this project and I'd like to see it continue and grew esp when finding drivers which can be super hard.
Hi there, unfortunately we aren't able to add a driver database at the moment. As nice as it would be to have a driver database, we are unable to add that right now.
Works fine, most of its issues are to do with what drivers you installed. For an example: When we installed the WDM drivers for our soundcard the systems performance would decrease significantly, even struggle playing back a WAV audio file with lots of crackle and programs lagging. Install the VXD driver for the soundcard however... and none of that happens, system is fast as fuck. Some drivers for some devices were very prone to triggering BSOD's.
