- I'm finally back! Sorry for making you guys wait so long, I've been pretty busy. I recently got accepted into my dream college and it turns out the admissions process has a ton of paper work lol.
It's near finals week for me and probably for some of y'all as well so hopefully this video can give you guys a nice fun break before you get back to studying.

90% sure that’s Rob’s doing. Edward in the books claims he does the things he does for her “protection” but lbr it’s 💯 him being possessive af. They tweaked Eclipse a lot in the movies and it’s bc they needed to. The whole book is nothing but red flags for an abusive relationship when it comes to both Edward and Jacob’s dynamics

I think book Edward was even less aggressive than the movie counterpart. It was always emphasized that he cares about two things; Bella’s safety and Bella’s happiness.

Nope, when I read the book at 11 I LITERALLY broke down crying because my mom was siding with Jacob and I thought that she would react just like Charlie in the books if someone acted like Jacob acted in the movie/book. And she said “it’s just a movie”
Ugh I loved him so much in the first and second book but then after that he started being a douche and forcing himself on Bella. That forced kiss was disgusting. He basking in the moment for himself even though he could tell she wanted nothing to do with it. When she went limp because she realized she couldn't get him off of her, I almost puked.
He forced her to kiss him TWICE. utterly disgusting. In the book when he kisses her the first time, she pushes him away but it seems to only spur him on and so he kisses her again aggressively and she just goes limp and numb. Then later near the tent he says he will literally let himself be killed if she doesnt kiss him which is somehow even worse. Hes nasty I dont vibe with Team Jacob people
When I was like 13 I was all team Jacob and even thought the forced kiss scene was kinda hot. Then I grew up and realised Jacob was a real asshole. Both of them were, but Edward is slightly better than Jacob.

This video is funny but Jacob is the main reason Eclipse is my least favorite book/movie. I hate how his character went from sweet and innocent friend to ‘nice guy’ in the friendzone. Bella made it clear to him multiple times that she wasn’t interested in him in a romantic way and he just ignored her. I also really hated him in Breaking Dawn, especially when he basically rubbed it in her face that he ‘imprinted’ on her new born baby.

I was 9 when the first twilight movie came out. I was Team Jacob because he was better looking and they looked like they had more fun together, plus giant wolf was really cool and also fluffy and cute.

And the fact that Stephanie Meyer just wants everyone to accept and support Jake imprinting on a BABY who he intends to have a romantic relationship with when she comes of age... I mean I can understand acting as her protector/guardian, but feeling attracted to her and patiently waiting until she is 18 to act on it, yeah that’s pretty much grooming. “Oh but it’s different she ages mentally and physically faster. Yea exactly like Stephanie works really hard to normalize what is essentially p*dophilia and it sucks bc she only did it so she could resolve her stupid love triangle. If she really wanted him to have a romantic interest (which he did not need to become a full character) she could’ve chosen Angela or Leah or made up someone entirely new! Heck she even had a bunch of vampires come over so he could’ve imprinted on any one of them and it could’ve been the first vampire-wolf imprint. Like she could’ve written anything! So why in the world would she make not one character but TWO imprint on children??? (I think qu’il ended up imprinting on like his cousin Claire? Who’s like really young, I can’t remember) it’s the weirdest decision in all of literary history

In her other book The Host there is ALL SORTS of non con or dub con bc both male leads kiss the main character without her consent at some point. The ideas for the worlds she creates are so interesting but these weird themes keep cropping up in her characters and I don't understand why.
@@SyntheticRose Same. Though I kind of get how it can happen-- sometimes you want a character to do something "bad" but still make them a likeable character. Sometimes one forgets to show that the action was bad past the basic "I rEgReT mY aCtIoNs." thing. As a writer, I do it a lot. Especially with my >BDSM< oneshots, they can sometimes run across as abusive at some points if Im not careful.
Thats why I feel like Meyer forgets to reread her work and look at it critically. Which is why I personally think she needs beta readers and an editor who would work on things like that with her. But thats not my call to make.

Yo during the scene in 6:43 i never really noticed it as a kid but honestly? My respect for Edward just went up a whole lot more "Well let me give you a clue, wait for HER to say the words!" I honestly wish more ppl (both guys & girls) would understand this concept, even if someone seems confused that doesn't just give you free reign to try and decide what they want for them, if they say something like "Im not sure right now so im gonna say no" then just leave it at that, if someone is unsure of what they want/ what they are doing with a person (relationship wise or sexual) then that means that they are in no position to be guided into a relationship/action by you, you can't just go "oh so if you don't know what you want right now then we can just try abc or do xyz" or "ill just wait till you say your ready for me" (that last quotation would be in the situation that someone says no/they don't wanna and the other party is like oh ill wait then, which is basicly like trying to wait someone out in hopes that they'll eventually cave and say yes) anyways now im ranting but yea i thought about that
