Either the reenactment wasn't accurate or everyone except for the guy who had suspicions on the flight that day was actually sleeping or blind.
One guy loitering around with other people's bag and no one noticed it?
Perhaps they were busy with looking at they're own devices or looking through the plane pamphlets?
