Now we have some rumors that Resident Evil 9 will be delayed until late 2025/2026 and allegedly the TWO remakes we are getting is Resident Evil Code:Veronica and Resident Evil Zero...what do you all think of these rumors?

Tomorrow RE 0 & CV are gonna be put on hold and they will begin working on Survivor & Dead Aim remakes. Then on Wednesday we will get breaking news that they are working on a sequel to Resistance. AND THEN we are gonna get word on Thursday that RE Gun Survivor 2 is getting its long awaited remaster. Trust me I’m Fat Gollum’s girlfriend’s boyfriend and my sources are credible. 🤣
So now this news, should shake people’s belief about these “leaks” and “rumors” and wait for official Capcom anouncement

Remember Capcom confirmed that 3 major titles will be releasing early next year. RE9 announcement will be this summer.

I don’t know about the other remakes, but Code Veronica is definitely getting a remake. CV may have other playable characters besides Claire, Steve, Chris, and Wesker.

Yeah, odds are good this isn't true, however I really, really hope it is true! I love all these characters. Steve, Billy, Claire, and Rebecca are such cool characters, they are four of my favorite RE characters.
He also said that re8 was working badly on ps5, but great on xbox series x/s, then he came out saying he was lying to make the conversation more equal between xbox and playstation. So personally I dont believe a word they say
I hope Capcom keep the same character model from RE2 to CV.
She has to be the same model considering it’s just a few months after RE2R and they also used Leon’s model from RE2R in RE4R but only made him look older.
If Residet Evil 0 is getting a remake let's hope they add co-op.For Resident Evil Code: Veronica it would be great if they let you pick between claire and chris from the start with less of a emphasis on backtracking.
Keep backtracking, just do it well
Co-op nonsense is a big cause of the decline in quality, keep that crap out of these single player games. Studios even admit that you sacrifice polish and quality content because you divide resources. You want co-op then you have thousands of options that are available, stop requesting it on every freaking thing that comes out. The problem is most gamers have the attention span of a fly so they always need to interact with someone else.
zero would he soooo good as a multiplayer title! or at the very lest solid AI partner.
Nah it needs to be somewhat like the original but maybe have Chris show up sooner and they need to keep the backtracking that’s like saying take out puzzles then it’s apart of resident evil dna and a survival horror theme along with resource management.
Think about it…zero makes sense if they want to test out a more horror focused design on coop for 5. Not the craziest idea in the book.

I hope they incorporate the Javier Hidalgo DLC into a Code Veronica remake. Since both deal with the Code Veronica virus.
I will stand by RE0 and RE1 not needing remakes. they already have amazing games both of which are available on steam.

I feel like the next set of remakes is establishing building blocks for an re5 remake. Plus streamline continuity a bit to emphasize wesker.
Think about it; newer fans don’t know him much, and to be fair across all games he has minimal screen time. So this is perfect.
The best thing we all could possibly do is to just wait until Capcom themselves announce smth cause this Golum guy clearly doesn’t know wtf he’s saying.

These leaks are getting stupid. RE CV is my favorite, but I hardly believe it’s gonna happen. Capcom hates CV for some reason
it has to happened because the point with this remakes is to re-write the canon unless capcom doesn´t consider the events of code veronica to be part of this new canon
Code Veronica cannot be erased from the remake continuity's canon because it's too important to the series' lore.

I’d bet on Code Veronica to be the first one to come out. RE4 was how Leon story continued after RE2 events, so now is time to tell what happened to Claire after it.
By the way, the very reason Claire is in Raccoon City, is because she’s looking for Chris, so Capcom has not concluded her story arc. Also, if i’m not wrong, i remember to have read a note at the Stars office, in RE2 remake or RE3 remake mentioning Chris went to Europe.
I don’t buy for a second that RE5 Remake isn’t happening, Golem is talking shit there lol, because that Separate Ways ending absolutely makes me think RE5 Remake is coming. Also, Andy is a good guy, and a fan of Resident Evil just like all of us, so i don’t see why he’d lie about having a pretty good source, and what he said in his video sounded pretty spot on and believable. A zero remake would be nice, although, i don’t see them remaking zero, and not remaking RE1R
RE1R into a story DLC about 0 makes way more sense than doing 0 and CV at the same time.
CV and 5 make more sense to do together since it’s part of the Chris vs. Wesker plot.
Plus with the ending to Separate Ways pretty much confirming a 5 Remake is coming, we just need to wait for an official announcement

5 is definitely not coming, Capcom is a Japanese Company, they do not like Africa Or Sheva all that much to give you a brand new 250,000,000$ remake to give you a game with all new scanned in assets from Africa AND the SAME controls 🤦🏻♂️. 4 only came out because it was the most popular of all time and they got tired of porting it every new generation.

They didn’t even put Sheva in RE:Verse FFS, the most fan service-y thing I’ve ever seen apart from every FF game ever. Do you really think they are going to go to Africa AGAIN and spend millions of dollars 3D scanning shit into RE engine just to show you that cheesy story with Jill, and Sheva again(who they couldn’t even bother to put in RE:Verse🙄)
Capcom is actually hard at work on their computers coding a project that will be revealed at a later date , they also have multiple high profile franchises that people look forward to
I feel hurt. Last week I was so happy to hear that Resi 1 and resident evil 9 with leon as a main character was what was next.... Code Veronica sounds great but I just dont really even care about a Resident Evil zero remake unless it is two players.... Also ...like why not a Godhand remake? Im getting weird Marvel vibes from this whole op and I say that as someone who views the RE4 remake as the perfect game. It feels like we are headed to complete over saturation.

This might not be a popular take but I think they have a prime opportunity to entirely reimagine re0 and have it take place playing as Bravo team leading to the events up to Alpha teams arrival and they could make the prime setting in the forest.
In theory…let’s say Remakes for Zero is confirmed, it would make sense because Capcom would set the “tone” for gameplay/lore in RE0, paving the way for RE1. Think of RE0 as the sandbox for RE1 later on.
Remaking 0 without 1 is stupid because the original 0 matches RE1 remake’s art style to where they might as well be the same game. Just remake Code Veronica and move on
Code Veronica being next is believable but 0 being made without 1 being in development doesn’t make sense. I think they’d develop 1 and 0 close together.

I'm thinking they want to have 0 first before 1 to flesh out Wesker a little bit. Since RE4 remake already spoiled that he's a bad guy, there's no need to have 1 released before 0 since the Wesker twist in 1 won't work anymore. I'm guessing that they're developing CV at the same time right now cause CV is a pretty long game especially compare to 0 & 1. They may released 0 & 1 remakes before they finished CV remake. RE5 remake is definitely coming since they teased it so much in RE4R but not right now. I'm glad they're taking their time tho. Here's hoping they can remake everything so that they can fix the mistake that is RE6. 🙏🙏🙏🙏
I'm glad that RE0 is getting some love, i always thought that game had so much potential if they remade it. Capcom needs to remake that story from scratch.

I would say it needs to be 0 and CVX. Especially to tie in Wesker, he has major roles in both. Even though RE1R would be important for Wesker too, but we already have a remake of it. Should be the last remake of the series. Can’t just make RE5R and kill off Albert so quick. Either way I’m down for anything RE.

I'm very much convinced RECVRe is the next shoe to drop , for the Poll win alone if not a part of the reason. As far as a remake of 1, I'll take it as well if it comes, but in the meantime I have a quality remake in the 2002 HD version AND in steam forged games wonderful Board Game based on the the RE1 remake classic. If any of you in this community, or you Anthony haven't played it yet give it a go! You'll love it. Honestly I don't care what game they release on resident evil. I would be happy with umbrella chronicles and darkside chronicles remakes for flatscreen and vr. The point is we should appreciate that resident evil games are still being made. Support silent hill 2 so we can see more from that franchise. If you miss old school resident evil go play Crow Country. It's great indie game that needs you support. As gamers if we vote with our wallets will get more of it. During a time when almost all gaming companies are suffering. They need our support. Enjoy gaming and I hope you have fun. Because at the end of the day we still have the old titles. Emulate them, but we got them. Remakes are meant to change it up and not replace the original. I can't wait to see what capcom vision is in the future.

It's all speculation until Capcom confirm what game thay are going to release.
He also recently said he’s going back into hiding again (more or less) now that the critics have it out for him. Fat Gollum might be an appropriate nickname after all - him and his obsession over his precious clout to rule over all the leaks. Now hiding away in the shadows until he’s ready to strike again.
Taking the “leaks” seriously for a moment - Zero and CV make little to no sense as a combo of games to work on. There’s next to nothing asset wise you could really share there compared to say…RE1R and RE0. RE0 releasing by itself also doesn’t feel right - it’s got a good story but it fits better as a companion piece to RE1R; acting as sort of the “next year title” like RE3 did for RE2. It has to capitalize on another game’s success not its own. CV, unfortunately, may be in a similar boat due to its own popularity and sales not really being up there next to other games. However CV as a companion to 5 or 1 works out nicely (while you can’t share assets much between CV and 5 it can capitalize on RE5 which WILL be a blockbuster).
Here’s what I think Gollum is doing - fed up with people coming out with leaks he had nothing to do with he wants to disparage them; claim they’re BS in such harsh words (seriously what an egotistical prick). To counteract it he’s claiming an unlikely game like 0 is in development alongside CV (which the community has desired anyways for so long and knows will get people talking). He also shoots down RE5R development (which seems like the next logical step down the road albeit not immediately) and also says there won’t be an announcement this summer? RE9 has been pushed back? Heh…
I fully expect for him to be wrong. I also hope that the RE1R rumors are true because he needs to be put in his place - he does not have to be the approver of all leaks.

I hope resident evil 1 rumor is real. Here is the correct order in my opinion and based on the storyline:
first RE9 (of course I'm ok with delay if it means they're working on it to make it better)
Second remake 1 in 30th anniversary and Zero as a DLC,
Third code Veronica
And at the End 5 remake.

wesker doesn´t have to die in the re5 remake this remakes is the new canon and so they don´t have to kill of wesker in the re5 remake just because he dies in the og re5 and they should reboot re6 as a survival horror game and they should remove jack from this new canon and replace him with wesker and i hope re5 remake is survival horror to

@@AdrianGarcia-qd1hs i want it to and they need remakes because the 2002 remake and the re zero we have isn´t part of this new canon and they contratict the new canon re0 has a part where rebecca visits a facility that looks like the one in the og re2 and even if its not the same facility the reason why it looks like the one in the og re2 is because umbrella choose to have facilities that look alike one another but in the new canon umbrella would have other facilities that look like the re2 remake facility and not facilities that look like the facility from the og re2 and thats why they need to fix that and have rebecca visiting a facility that looks like the one from the re2 remake and the 2002 remake contraticts the new canon because of that letter from john to ada but john doesn´t exist in the new canon or maybe he exists but unlike the old canon in the new canon ada was certain that he was dead

Aside from Resident Evil 1 Remake Remake, I'm probably most excited for Resident Evil Code Veronica. I've never played Resident Evil 0, myself. It looks like a nice game, but I wasn't into the duo setup and lack of item boxes. It seemed too frustrating, so I never got into it. I hope those things change in its remake, because if they do, I can see myself getting into that. One thing I have to add, though, is that I've never heard of a leak that was true that mentioned TWO games in a series being in the works at once. (I know RE2 and 3 remakes had overlap, and 3 with 4 a well, but the rumors all came quite far apart, like a year apart, even if there was some work on them at the same time.) This "leak" with two games at the same time really makes me distrust it. At any rate, no matter what happens, I hope they take their time and make every game the best it can be instead of rushing. (I wish we could get a "RE3 REmake: Extended" as well, but that's dreaming, I guess.)
