As a Texan fan, I think they are really underestimating the Colts. I think they are the second best team in the division and I can see them getting a wildcard spot

As a fellow Texans fan, I agree to an extent since I do think Richardson is an unknown quantity still. Has had injury issues going back to college and got injured just four games into his rookie season. Steichen was able to get them to play well with Minshew, but he's gone now. Just lots of unknowns with that team.
@@SkyJW15 I agree with Richardson's injury concerns but we can't base season projections on that. Any one can get injured on any team.
Going off roster construction and coaching I think the colts might have a better team than the Jaguars if healthy.
@@SmithAndre15 All I'm saying is you have to go off what you know when predicting things and what we know is that Richardson has problems staying healthy. Until he can prove he can avoid injury (especially given the physical style of QB he plays), nobody should expect him to.
Not to mention that he injured his throwing shoulder last year, so there's reason to be concerned about how his passing will hold up. Thankfully he's young and the surgery apparently went well, but the dude is practically the epitome of a boom or bust prospect.
@@SkyJW15He doesn’t have issues staying healthy. He had one ACTUAL injury. The knee “injury” was him bumping his knee and the colts pulling him from a game they weren’t winning during the final drive. Then, he got a concussion on a cheap shot from a Texans defender. The only actual injury he had was a freak tackle that happened. Derek Carr had the same injury this year just to a lesser degree. He’ll be fine

Wow, the Colts hate is ridiculous. They’re basically saying Richardson is going to be a liability since the Colts brought everyone else back after a 9-win season last year.
The Colts did not win a game last year that Richardson finished. So, I'd say a little skepticism is reasonable.

The Texans had to battle their asses off to make the playoffs last year. They had to win 10 games with a rookie QB, first year coaching staff, an offensive line in shambles, an extremely poor running game and arguably a very middling roster. The Texans were on their way to the playoffs regardless wether Jacksonville won the division or not. The Texans did not have an easy road to the playoffs. No one expected that roster to win 10 games let alone a playoff game.

Houston has potential to go 12-5 if they hitting on all cylinders, 10-7 is my guess and realistic option, and finally 6-11 if things fall apart. (This is coming from a Colts fan so good luck saying anything is "biased".) Meanwhile the Colts still have a ton to prove so I don't even want to predict there outcome.

I'd probably find a win or two more for Houston, a win more for Jax, and two or three less wins for Tenn. Titans have a lot to prove losing Henry and hoping Levis develops.
As a Colts fan, I'm actually happy the Texans finally got themselves their QB of the future in Stroud to pair with a great coach like Ryans. I can see Stroud/AR being a great division rivalry for years to come and I'm excited to watch them both develop!

The hype is earned. Texans improved more than any other team in the NFL and are coming off a year that no-one expected them to win more than 3 games. Played last year with a rookie HC and QB and the most crippled o line in the nfl while also having a bottom of the league running game.
