In this video series I go through how I made my clone of the Orange Tiny Terror
    part 1 - • Tiny Terror clone - pa...
Here I go through some quick introduction, and go through the steps for making the chassis
    part 2 - • Tiny Terror clone - pa...
I will continue the build by assembling the component board, wiring the panel mounted components, tube sockets and transformers
    part 3 - • Tiny Terror clone - pa...
I will finish the build by making a simple head cabinet, after that I go into troubleshooting mode, see if everything works. after that I will show you the initial sound of the amp, and then I will try to improve it:
hum reduction, component swaps and any other upgrades
    Disclaimer:
I am not an electrical engineer (duh!), however I have a basic understanding of what to look out for when handling lethal current.
Also, I much appreciate any helpful tips or comments, but keep in mind that this video is to show how I built my clone, and not how you should build yours
    Schematics used: thmq.mysteria.cz/diystompboxes...

    Very nice, looks very tidy!
Edit: forgot to mention but it sounds great as well!
About the grounding: i usually read everywhere that best practise is indeed to put audio ground near the input jack, if you use shielded cable ground them at the lower gain side only. Safety earth ground should go near the mains socket. Having only these ground connections does not create a ground loop: it puts audio ground at the same potential as mains ground. It also helps to keep power supply ground and audio ground separated as much as possible, having only one wire preferably after the last power supply filtering stage.
I've tried 1m linear pots, they didn't do much untill halfway. I'm guessing the parallel resistors change the taper a bit, and if you look at other orange terror/ad amps, they use different values. It might be worth trying different parallel resistors to the gain pots, or maybe connecting them between pin 1-2 or 2-3 instead of 1-3. It changes the load resistance though and filter cutoff point of the filter it makes with the coupling capacitor so it might change frequency response.

Wonderful ..... I'm a novice so I can't offer much more than praise for your work. I like to build inexpensively and your a man after my own heart. Thank you for sharing this inspiring trio of videos.

    Well done, sounds great!

my stock Tiny Terror has insufficient bass response(i realize this intentional, for the benefit of high gain/ screaming-lead sounds)...but i'd rather leave that part up to effects pedals, and get a bassier overall amplifier sound. so, i am thinking about replacing the PCB with a turretboard like this, with different bypass capacitor values. thanks!

Thanks for sharing the video balint. Quick question how did you select your output transformer?

I realy like how the green one sounds like compared to the other and the art work on the orange one is realy cool too ! How much do you estimate the coast of all the part of one of your amp, just out of curiosity ? (Shoutout to the video editing too, it was cool to watch)

      Hey John,
thanks, I'm glad you liked it :)
for the cost... well if i would have had to buy everything, then around 200 dollars, but I had some things laying around, so I spent about 50 on each

Very nice amp, but the best part is the tone. Do you built for your own purpose or you can built for somebody else?

thanks, for now I only build for myself :)
