- Full restoration and tune-up of my favorite flat head shovel, the most important tool for building dirt jumps and pump tracks. After I get the shovel fully restored and looking awesome, we take it to my backyard pumptrack and dirt jumps for some digging and riding.

As a plumber I used the oil on my shovel to help keep dirt from sticking. And camping is in tents! I need that shirt

Hot sauce with a wire brush and then a rinse with water will knock that rust out pretty quick. A little thing I learned removing rust when I was in the Navy.

Geez at 22k subs! I remember when you had 4k subs.
When I redo the edge of my flat shovel I leave those little points on the end to act like spades. Dig in at an angle and its like a flat and spade shovel in one. I dig so much with the same shovel the edge starts to roll on itself.

After watching this yesterday I went out to use my rusty shovel. Sure enough the dirt stuck to the bottom when packing the lander I was adding to. After using some already packed dirt to slide the bottom of the shovel on it shined up nice and the dirt doesn't stick now. Moral of the story use your tool to build jumps more than I do and they work better. I definitely gotta treat my handles to some boiled linseed oil though.

I was wandering how limiting a bike can be without any suspension that’s also too small when you try to trail ride and could it be the reason I can’t wheelie. Is it worth getting full suspension for the extra cost or is a hard tail good enough. I would appreciate it if you could give me some advice. Thanks
Freya MacColl a hardtail is worth it if you can’t afford or don’t know if you want to do mountain biking.
