Tampa Marriott Water Street!! Full Room & Hotel Review/ Tour!!

The Tampa Marriott Water Street is a premium hotel located in a great location downtown Tampa. I did not find it luxurious but it is still worth a night if you are in the area and on a budget. I recommend using your points here.

Pros:
-Newly renovated
-Great points redemption value
-Location in heart of tampa
-Outdoor restaurant is nice
Cons:
- Rooms are renovated but not luxurious and feel basic
-Service was average and not special
Pricing:
The average nightly price for a standard room is usually around $260-$400
The average number of Marriott Bonvoy points required per night: 30,000- 45,000
I recommend using points to stay at this property as you can usually always get a good value of a penny per point or more every night.

I just stayed at JW Tampa this past weekend and EDITION!! Both were fantastic! JW has the best service of any JW Marriott in the US. Amazing club lounge, and beautiful rooms with great views. You can expect my review out in about 5 months.

Funny how they all look the same these days. They all look cheap but charge a fortune and the decor looks like it’s right out of an ikea store.

@@gogotravelwithjosh main concerns with any hotel is: price, cleanliness, acceptable service and hopefully never to find any crawling creatures. I did have this hotel booked for a night months from now, I cancelled and rebooked to the Embassy Suites nearby as the price dropped to less than the Marriott, has the evening drinks and morning breakfast. From what I can surmise both hotels are pretty much equal. Hope I’m right.
