We have had 4 Escapes since introduction. All 4 were reliable, quality vehicles. We traded in our 2010 Escape XLT V6 for a 2015 Escape Titanium 2.0 in ruby red. We love this vehicle. Wife is averaging 22MPG with only 2K on the odometer. Go with the 2.0 if you can, then the 1.6, then the 2.5. Nice quality vehicle. The 2.0 Titanium will smoke the Mazda in both acceleration and handling..
We have this 2015 Ford Escape with the 2.0 L 4-Cylinder Turbo Engine. All the features are very nice and it drives great but the engine is not quite and has a vibration when you stop. You can feel it in you foot, your seat and on the steering wheel. Had it back several times and they say thats the way its suppose to be. Disappointed that that would be standard.
The 2015 Ford Escape is not attractive at all to me. It doesn't look anything like the truck / SUV it once was. I have a 2010 Escape Limited and that seems to have more features than this one. It has a V6 engine, AWD, flex fuel compatibility, heated leather seats, a sunroof, ambient lighting inside, and the Ford Sync system. It has a touchscreen with GPS, Sirius XM, bluetooth, DVD / CD player, auxilary port, USB. What I like about my Escape that I haven't seen in many other vehicles is that jukebox feature. It allows me to save up to copy up to 2500 songs from my CD collection and / or USB flash drive to the hard drive in the car. What happened to this feature? I haven't seen newer cars that have it. The audio performance is great and it drives smooth. When I sit down in there it has a premium look and feel inside and out. The grill has a lot of chrome on it. The older Escapes also look bigger and roomier and more durable. I hope they go back to the old body styles at some point. This new one doesn't have a premium or attractive look. But the fuel economy is a little better. I guess that's the catch.
You do realize you’re trying to sell the car right? I have a 2015 white one and I like the seats. And the visibility is great. And it has proximity alert.
I have loved this SUV since 1999! It seems to be smaller though compared to the 2000 model. Still a very strong built SUV...interior is always great with Ford, but the mileage how is it?? In the past with ford they were not that great. It seems like this model compared to past is made more dense inside, not liking it so much.
