I had to stop and start this show so many times because of so many uncomfortable social situations.
I enjoyed Catastrophe the first time around.

What a fantastic series! I watched the whole season 1 in a half day and wished it was longer. Both Harriet and Patrick were phenomenal in the series. Amazing performance and you can feel they have true chemistry goin on. I did however not like the woke part of the series. Trying to get special treatments meanwhile bashing the "boomer" yah just doesnt cut it for me. But hey bold move to even go there.
That episode was so stressful. I actually paused it several times and came back to it. She was treating him so awfully it hurt to watch. And the friends, yikes...

It's good, but it's not as sharp as Catastrophe, which did this five years ago. And did it better.
Those are two very different shows.

Both shows are set on earth and have human characters.
Whatever your age the friends were totally vile and at 30 they should be acting more like grown-ups
That episode didn't feel like it was about their ages to me, whatever they say... she just had horrible 'friends' and maybe sometimes you need to see people through an outsider's eyes to realise how much horribleness you've gotten used to in your life.
