It ISN"T a cover if you wrote the song. Dave was one of the people who wrote it.
The song was popularized by another of Dave's (and Ranking Roger's) bands, but is being performed in the video under the English Beat moniker, thus the term "cover." I use this criteria when titling all my videos so that if someone is just a fan of the song in question they'll know it's the one they enjoy.

Es una gran banda a pesar de que no sean todos los integrantes, tiene parte de la esencia de la banda original, ya English Beat era parte de General Public. Gracias
It's a General Public song covered by The Beat, which includes the songwriter. But how can one songwriter claim to be in two groups, you ask?
