Very informative show on the interior room option. Bath looks to be the best I’ve seen in the category. Wife and I 💙 the interior rooms. I places us in our own time warp 😀- i.e. plenty of rest.
Very informative , Thanks Fraser. I cruised o MSC Seaside in th Caribbean a month ago. I had a balcony 12019. It was the exactly as you described. I was very comfortable there and as a solo traveller, I was never alone . I will though try the Inside cabin and save some money when I book another Cruise. I am a MSC lover too.❤❤❤
I’ve stayed from large suites to tiny inside cabins and in my experience just not in there long enough. I’ll get nicer cabins if there’s a good deal. This inside cabin on Virtuosa looks perfectly acceptable to me.
@@FraserAtSea On my Virtuosa sailing next month I’m in an Aft Balcony Suite but only because there was an incredible offer on a while ago. Never sailed at the back before!
Usually with MSC, an ‘IB cabin’ would be an Interior Bella cabin, and I find these are usually in the ‘worst’ (if you want to look at it that way) parts of the ship. IR2 is, I believe, their ‘Deluxe Interior’, which will be in a better location. You may find IR2 are marginally bigger, but the difference isn’t going to be big enough to have a game of football in there…!! Hope that helps!
@@SuperCconroy wow - that’s a lot actually - does that move you up to a ‘Fantastica’ booking? I’m Fantastica for my current cruise, and do like the perks you get at that level - maybe worth giving MSC a quick call though - they’re usually good at answering!
@@jenniferpratt3854 I believe you can do either - I usually stay Bella in a Deluxe Interior, but am Fantastica on my current cruise (currently messaging you from the middle of the Med!), so I assume always either is possible!
@@jenniferpratt3854 guaranteed cabins are usually a guarantee that you’ll get that room type I believe, so updates would be very rare. Best to call the cruise line to check though!
OK, 2 cruises to find the bedside usb sockets?? Jeez oh! Suppose they are quite hidden..... Am afraid I research all cabins I book to confirm what facilities they have in advance. Tho, sometimes the cruiseline websites aren't as detailed as you think they'd be! And I end using UA-cam to check things, there's this guy called @FraserAtSea who always good ! 😅

Thanks for the great video. I look forward to cruising on the Virtuosa as we are building our channel.
Thanks, and good luck with your channel!
Thanks for this & very thorough. Booked this cabin type for a last-minute deal in 6 weeks. Looks really nice. 😊
Oh, enjoy - have the best trip!
Thank you Fraser. Great little video to explain all about the inside cabin ❤️
Thanks!

I couldn’t agree more - I actually really enjoy staying on the inside - I usually sleep SO well in there!

Do you know what difference there is between inside cabin IB and IR2? The pictures are identical

@@FraserAtSea superb, thank you. Don’t think I’ll waste the extra £350 they want for the IR2 then.

Can you ask your room stewerd to empty mini bar
Yes! They’re always so happy to do it for you - they just bag it all up and take it away :)

If u book a garunteed cabin would it be possible to get a free upgrade?

Ha, I think that Fraser guy was having ‘a moment’ throughout all previous Virtuosa cruises, haha!
