- Learn how to make Ddakji. Ddakji is a Korean paper flipping game seen on Squid Game. This easy to make origami DIY Squid Game Paper Flipping Game and toy requires 2 sheets of paper per paper tile. The object of this paper game is to flip your opponent's paper square using your own paper square. Seong Gi-hun is seen playing Ddakji with a man at the train station. if you got paper that isnt thick enough, you can just take a third paper and fold it to a square that fits in the middle, that way it will be heavy enough to flip. or put something else inside

If you do it with one A4 sized paper. It would be very light. There's a gap between the paper. You can insert a cardboard or put a folded piece of paper.
My fave is the honeycomb, I mean, just imagine just being killed for not cutting the shape accurately. It’s like peer pressuring at its peak.

Well this isn’t my favorite part, but the saddest parts were when the boy got lied to and his marbles were replaced with rocks. Then the other sad part was when the old man said he only did the games to have fun again like he used to. Then he died at a certain time I honestly am not going to lie but I had some tears fall down.

For some reason at the end when you said “tears fall down”, I immediately thought of oh klahoma song from Jack Stauber, one of the lyrics being “tears falling down”.
I used to get jealous of my classmates who knew how to make this thing a decade ago lol.
for all the other origami, you have to get the exact shapes and folds, but for this it ends up perfect :O

I played the game before Squid Game was a thing…except we didn’t really use paper we use these tiny little squares that had little characters or Pokémon and then threw it down and tried to flip the other persons (however you spell it)

If you only got printing paper you should stack diagonally then vertically then diagonally again then vertically again so its easier to flip them by throwing them at each other ( my opinion ) :)

What type of paper do you use? Is it a heavy weight?
they used card stock, which is heavier than normal paper

I guess only people in east Asia knows the game called Ddakji, people in china also play this but the game has different name in different place, I used to win a lots of paper by play this game when I was a kid

So I've seen some tutorials where they only use one sheet of paper to make one ddakji. Is it better to use the 2 paper method or 1 paper method?

the tip we played when young for playing the ddakji, pushing the edge and making flat as mich as possible with nail makes better chance to win

What paper is best to use? construction paper?
I’ve seen people use different papers and sizes so now I’m confused on which one to follow

I play Ddakji with starburst at school and if we lose we don't get slapped we just watch as the winner gets the starburst
