Infiltrate grid 086 S rank POST PATCH

Ok, so strictly I only post boss fights, however this challenge was so hard and confusing, consider this a PSA for anyone else going for platinum.
Post the recent patch speed runs are no longer viable due to the increased cost of using S tier weapons such as the needle guns, Zimmermans, and song birds since their power was nerfed.
If you can replicate this run you should get S rank no problem. Use melee weapons, kick and assault armour to help reduce ammo costs and get through the mission as quickly as possible killing only higher level enemies along the way. Good luck!

I did this in the newer patch with dual zimmermans and only one pilebunker on my back, and i speedrunned throught it, skipping everything but the boss and mandatory objectives. I did some retry but if you are really fast you can do it

I was trying to S Rank this damn mission and I just couldnt figure out a nice balance between something that can stun Smart Cleaner efficiently and not be penalized for it. I'll try and use this as a guide on my next attempt

Good luck, I was wracking my brains trying to accomplish this one, finding the perfect balance to achieve S was hard, but if you can replicate something like this you'll smash it!

Did you get it??? it's my last mission to S rank and for the platinum...gives me such a pain as no matter how fast I am I get A rank all the time!!

@@victoriadouma7850 Yup! I used the exact same weapons, just tweaked the AC itself to my own tastes. I uploaded my own run for those who aren't keen on fighting the two hidden Tetrapod MTs like in this video. This mission seems to value speed and the money you earned killing enemies so make sure you destroy every Toybox Mech you come across. They're 12k COAM each
Also for some reason, its the only mission that seems to dislike you resupplying. Try to skip the resupply box outside Smart Cleaner's arena.

I used dual zimmermans with dual stun needles and I speedran the level, before the boss just focus on the AC and defeat the boss as fast as you can
