I just won young musician of the year award from my school and played at the awards ceremony infront of everyone! you're videos really inspired me to push myself, so thank you!!! since people are asking I played a medley of Don't Stop Me Now, Nocturne Op.9 no.2, für elise and Bohemian Rhapsody.
lol you are so hilarious with the arm sniff and acting so natural. with all your perfection, thanks so much for being human, and not some stuck up egghead of a musician. thanks for being the cool person that you are. thanks for hangin out with us! jon

Hi Annique! I just found your channel about a week ago I love it. The 1 min 10 min 1 hr challenges are really fun. I’m surprised on some of those that it’s the first time you’ve played them! Looking forward to your next video.
Annique, I want to say thank you for sharing your life with us. You surely represent an inspiration for someone, and this is great because you are a beautiful person. Love you from Italy💚 PS: sorry for my not too good English.
Oh that's the pain. When I was young, I never have option to even try to play any instrument because of "money". Now I'm 30. It's 2 years since I'm in love with piano, but I know it will be just a hobby. Sadly I'm too out of time to get serious with it. But there's a bright side, I have something that I really enjoy 🎹
Although the Rach 3 is splendid, I vote for the second concerto. It was the first Rachmaninov composition I heard when I was younger and I fell in love with it. Rachmaninov is my favorite composer.
As a piano student and a listener, I always liked rach 3 over 2. From start to finish, the story arc of the piece flows between the piano and the orchestra in a way I never felt from 2. Of course, I wasn't particularly drawn to the virtuosic lines in the solo as much as to the gorgeous stuff the orchestra was doing during all the piano runs. In retrospect this should have been my first clue that I was not destined to play this piece. Congrats Annique!!
Late(?) reply but I definitely agree, the orchestration just feels that much more involved in 3 through its more complicated structure. Like the middle of the second movement before the climax where the muted strings suddenly take the melody, and then the piano comes back but reinforced by the woodwinds...IMO that movement contains some of the most romantic moments ever in the classical literature.
Talking about movies, I was surprised not to hear some music inspired ones when you mentioned your favorite movie. I would recomend watching "Mr. Holland's Opus" if you like. It really helped me to understand what a teacher is and what can I expect from one. Maybe I'm still beginning my journey and I see it in a way as a student (and a father, but that's another aspect of the movie), but maybe it can add something to you as a teacher. And anyone else reading this, if you like music, enjoy playing and instrument and learning it, the movie is for you.
Hi Annique.I'm a big fan of you from Myanmar.I'd like you to try some Burmese traditional old classical piano pieces.I'm not pretty sure if there's with the international note.
Hi thanks for all the very interesting videos! Please can you complete and upload la campanella and moonlight sonata? And can you make another video about section learning techniques and sight reading? I really enjoy the videos thanks!
You should definitely do a 1 min, 10 min, 1 hour challange playing Le Sapin (the spruce) op.75, number 5 by Jean Sibelius. It is an absolutely fantastic piece, also it is quite short which makes it perfect for a video!
The birds are the real stars of this video! Surprised your favorite movie isn’t “Amadeus,” especially the scene where he played the march after hearing it once.
Ahh diese Vögel im Hintergrund erinnern mich immer daran, wie ich als kleines Kind den ganzen Tag bis zum Abend draußen mit meinen Brüdern Fußball gespielt habe 😅
Hello from Quebec! Tu es très jolie :) I love your piano. I also play myself. Ive been a self learner for 10 years now, and I go to college in 2 months! Im gonna do a 3 years school learning the pop-jazz creation profil, wish me great luck! see ya
I would love to see a 1min 10min 1hr challenge of The Sleeping Beauty Waltz by Tchaikovsky (arr. Rachmaninoff) for 4 hands with your sister. That would be a fun challenge!
hi!! could u please play Prelude in C Sharp Minor (Rachmaninoff) as a 1 minute 10 minute 1 hour challenge pls it would mean the world because i am learning that song for recital and i really need some guidance and you are a prefect person to ask because you are so good and informal. ❤️
Hi Annique. I Really like your channel. I stumbled upon it and noticed your shirt which incorporates two of my most favourite things, Batman and Totoro. I would love to hear you play some Joe Hisaishi music on the piano like Madness from Porco Rosso or The Parh Of the Wind from My Neighbour Totoro. Thanks for keeping me smiling. 😊
Here is the pianist John Tout who use to play with Renaissance. I love his playing. Tell me if the piano intro is by a classical piano composition or did John Tout write this. Please let me know. I have one other piece that he plays that is a Chopin composition. I'm thinking maybe an Etude if I'm right. Let me know.
I almost cried then I started to laugh. Then I remembered that's what was said about me (I have so much potential). Thay were right I just have to believe. I 👨🏾🎓 do believe ❤️ 🎹 ty.
I started playing more since I found out the channel… I must confess that I was thinking of giving up, because I’m almost terrible ahahahahah… but I’ve been practicing much more lately… let’s see what is going to be..
I request that you find a way to bring back Chantal. I can't tell you how many times I've watched that video. Plus, special returning guest stars always bring larger audiences.
Did you ever think about being a concert pianist instead of teaching piano. I know I started too late taking classical piano lessons. Even though I majored in piano at college degree a bachelor of music degree I was better at guitar. Have you ever heard of the pianist John Tout who use to play with Renaissance. He's passed away now but an accomplished classical pianist. Gonna send you a recording of how good. He started private classical piano lessons at 7 & took 8 years. And didn't go to college. I wished I'd started at 7 like him. He plays circles around me. Let me know if you like his playing.
Super Kanal.

Rachmaninov 2nd and 3rd concerti are so different from one another that I wouldn’t be able to choose. Love them both.

I stink when I’m in a hot room for a long time, too! Maybe I could learn how to play the piano someday! 😲
Hi, just discovered the channel. I like the 1min,10min,1hour videos. I'd like to see videos of you playing entire songs you already know.
no, she doesn't actually

So great to watch you play. Show everyone when there's a chance. Wow! Any thoughts on the harpsichord?

I prefer Rach. # 3 the most ... such a mysterious opening.
I love your batitotoro T-shirt
What are Sharp when you’re playing piano
What do you use to record your piano??
Can classical pianists improvise like jazz pianists? I listen to classical pianists but I also listen to jazz pianists. You are beautiful.
Annique is Annica in English, not Annick😅 Both French and English forms do have the final schwa.
Can i play piano without read notes ?

I am a Rachmaninoff 1 lover. Unusual take, I know
Ich habe eine Frage.
Weshalb sprichst du nur Englisch in deinen Videos?
I love your happy soul and appreciate your talent. However, I play the violin not the panio. No intonation problems with the panio, lol.
Take up tennis its low risk injury on your hands. And great fun! :)
The virtuosity* of the 3rd
👌
No entendí pero los subtítulos ayudaron. Buen video
You should collaborate with Nahre Sol!
You should rename this video to include the words “professional pianist” to reach a broader audience.
hey, can you do the “1 minute 10 minutes 1 hour challenge” with the symphony no 5 of beethoven?
7:28 "with my boyfriend" broke my hearth 😞😞
Many hearts were broken in that moment.
His name is Boston. Designed by Steinway and Sons.
Do you live in an apartment and if so how do your neighbors deal with you practicing 6 hours/day?
Rach 2, all day, every day... :-)
If you don't pass your finals, do they revoke your piano license?
I called my local conservatory to take music and piano lessons they told me I was too old, I'm 23
