    Oh I’m so pleased to see someone cooking the flour out 😍 , iv been watching different recipes for years and they all just add the flour mix then add their liquid , when if you cook it out like we do , it tastes so much better ❤️❤️

    Very nice recipe and quite surprising of what condensed chicken soup turned out to be. Will adding more vege like celery or celery salt to the broth make it better?

    I had almost given up using left over roast chicken to make pie, then I found your recipe and my chicken pies are splendid things now.     Cream of chicken soup, if you can find it, costs anywhere from $5-9 USD here in Mexico. Chickens are cheap. Gracias for this video.

    I made this tonight for the first time. I'm in Indonesia and we don't have the better than bullion used in the video. I've had that product before and used it to make food and its great stuff, but even without it, my cream of chicken was a crap ton better than the stuff I've had in the can. Can't recommend this enough.

    Yummy! Do you have a thick cream of mushroom soup recipe? Ive never been a big cream of chicken person and although I love canned mushroom soup, it's to salty.

Yes I do, it was actually one of the very first videos I ever made so it's fun to look back on and see how much I changed in making videos LOL adding the red wine on top is totally optional but I went to a really fancy schmancy restaurant once where they served it that way and it was so delicious I had to keep adding it to mine!     Hi Kristin! I live in the Caribbean, but I miss American food so much! Cream is prohibitively expensive here, but I can get milk in UHT boxes. Could I substitute milk for the cream? Would I need to also add additional fat, maybe coconut oil?

      Hi Karen!! Yes, use 2Tbls of milk + 1tbls butter instead of 3 tbls of heavy cream. Let me know how it works out or if you have questions 🥰

      Yes you can. When you are ready to use it let it thaw out and heat it on low stirring often. Don't let it simmer or it will get grainy on you.

      @@KristinatMiniSliceoffarm Hi Kristin, I don't use bouillon, because I make my own stock, and occasionally I reduce it into a deglacee, which is much like a bouillon. If one freezes it into icecube trays, it can be used just like two tablespoons of bouillon. And of course I make it gluten free.

    Hi, if I wanted more then one serving do I just add more chicken broth or the size or amounts of the ingredients change. I just don’t see the number of servings on your recipe.

      It makes about 2 large servings (about 3 cups). If you want it a little brothier add 1/2 cup of broth. If you want more servings I would double the recipe.

      Hi Rose! Unfortunately you can't can it, but you can can the chicken stock with a little of the chicken in it and it makes it really easy to whip up when you have that on hand 🥰
      This also freezes well if you want a second option!

      Yes, before you add the extra broth to turn it into full-blown soup. The condensed version is equal to one can

      Hi Patrick, the cream in this recipe is heavy whipping cream from cow's milk. If you are dairy free you can use any dairy free milk. I've used unsweetened coconut milk or almond milk in this recipe and both work well 😊

    Enjoyed this recipe. Folks, do read the ingredients on the Better Bouillon jar, as it has preservatives and other toxins as well. It will also raise the sodium level. I made this with organic whole milk, and it turned out wonderful! Thanks 😊 Please know you can do the same process to make condensed cream of mushroom soup. Just saute the mushrooms separately, and then add at the end after the bechamel sauce is made.

    Delicious! I tore the breast meat off the bone and cut it into 1/4 - 1/2 inch cubes because small pieces are easier for my grandkids to eat. They loved it!
