My youngest afew times a week takes himself to bed, brushes his teeth, asks just to be tucked in, no book just a cuddle and after a long day, its the greatest gift ever! 😂 hes 6 and can be the exact depiction in this sketch, but sometimes is the sweetest little boy in the world and helps non stop haha
A sweater (North American English) or pullover, also called a jersey or jumper (British English and Australian English), is a piece of clothing, typically with long sleeves, made of knitted or crocheted material, that covers the upper part of the body.
My twin boys begged me for ear stretchers when they where about 15 years old. BEGGED me! I flat out said Nope, not happening and refused to give in to them. They’re 24 now and thank me for not giving in to them! They admit that it would have been an awful decision. In fact one said to me the other day that he’s glad I was strict where food was concerned cos he’s not grown up fussy like his girlfriend. Made me smile 🏴
Congrats on 80k subs guys! so glad you liked McIntyre. His other 2 kids videos are "Sibling rivalry escalates & crosswalks" & "People without children have no idea what it's like". A shorter kids lesser viewed video is "Entertaining children" about where's Walley, but there's so many funny McIntyre videos on UA-cam, it's a gold mine. Another person in the comments quite rightly mentioned the "man drawer", that is really his first main trademark bit he was first known for. This really made me laugh, can't wait for more McIntyre guys, thanks again. His "accents" video is also great, he's very good at accents, Australian, South African etc... Also his "Dealing with bees and wasps" video.
i've been waiting for you to discover Michael McIntyre too. his "Leaving the house" clip is brilliant - I hadn't actually seen this one, it's good. New Zealand english is based heavily in English english and here a jumper is just a knitted jersey, but some people would even refer to a sweatshirt as a jumper - long sleeve crew neck top you'd wear over a t-shirt etc
A jumper is British English for a sweater. A jomper is trousers and top joined together... As in jomper suit, usually for kids, but there are adult equivalents... Also called dungarees...
MM is so funny, a household name here on the UK with at least 2 BBC primetime shows, as well as massive stand up tours and before streaming took off, record DVD sales if memory serves, his skit about the "Man Drawer" is my favourite of his, love your reactions and its great to see the comedians i enjoy seen through new eyes, thanks so much, you and Jody come acroos as amazing people and it gives me genuine joy to see you both enjoy a video, like the Peter Kay clips and this MM clip, hope you get to 100k soon as i cant think of a channel that deserves that milestone mire, already waiting for the next one lol
Good reaction video I think Jodie is describing a onesie a item of clothing where the top and bottom are one piece he was talking about a jumper which you would know as a sweatshirt
You just needed to be tougher, like our parents were BUT it was a pretty even battle. Parent: "You won't leave this table until you have eaten your food!!" Children: "We can't eat the pumpkin" P - "Why not?" C - "People use it to keep their room's down" In one case - a battle between my mom and I over broccoli. "Ian, You will eat that broccoli" "I won't" "Then you'll just stay at the table" Everybody's gone to bed, I'm still at the table. At about 02:00 in the morning, she came and woke me up at the table. "God, you're stubborn. You win. Now go to bed"
Micheal Macintyre is one our best comedians and a national treasure I would have say, absolutely hilarious.I hope you guys do more and a jumper is what you would call a sweater, we also say sweater too. Keep up the reactions!! Much love from London 😁 ❤👍
What i find amazing parenting seems like a dream for some. We were all children but somehow as soon as we become parents some forget and are surprised how wonderful & a little horror they were.
Michael McIntyre is my favourite stand up. He makes me laugh so much. His delivery is just brilliant! You should look into the episode called ‘Michael McIntyre Live at the Apollo Live and Laughing’ I suffer with depression, once in a while I will put some of his stuff and it just gives me the laughs I need. Enjoy!
As a non-parent I'm amazed by that constant, daily investment in the offspring. I don't know how people do it. But it must be great every time the kids do well at something at school, in sports, in art etc, and then, hopefully grow into fine young people, jobs well done by Mom and Pop. Glad you've found Michael M. He's excellent at observation comedy, as you can see.
My wife and I saw this whole show on our honeymoon, while onboard a coach travelling through Europe. Half the bus was in stitches, and most of us didn’t even have kids at that point. It’s even more relatable today. We ended up going to a Michael McIntyre standup show when he came to australia a few years ago. Hilarious.
My daughter would NEVER eat carrots or broccoli so my wife would whizz them up in a blender add some blackcurrant juice in a beaker and she would always drink her juice!
You asked what a jumper is. It's traditionally a knitted, long sleeved top with a round or V neck which can also be called a pullover or jersey. Is that called a sweater in the US? A cardigan has buttons. Some people may call a sweatshirt a jumper but it isn't.
The word jumper is usually used more in the UK. A jumper is a long-sleeved item worn on the top half of your body, and like a sweater, is usually considered knitted or crocheted, but also seen made of jersey fabric or cotton too. 1. Australian/British etc. for Sweater. Less than wholesome is #2 2. Someone who commits suicide by jumping from a high place, normally a tall building. Can be used to describe someone who is about to jump, or someone who already has.
a jumper is a sweater but made from wool jodi what you are saying is a jump suit or overalls like a engineer would wear when working on cars and such i loved this reaction from both of you now thats a reaction nick i was crying omg i dont have kids but i do have 4 nieces and 2 nephews and the toilet thing im glad other people have that problem with the kids not flushing there is a lot more micheal mclntyre videos out there my fav is the dentist
Thanks for watching and leaving this comment. We loved this video, as you can tell. Looking forward to the dentist. Having kids is definitely a struggle, but for those who have them, most will agree with me when I say it is worth it, by far.
Hi, just recently found your channel and love your content. FYI a jumper is simply what you would call a sweater. He has some other great clips...Man Draw, Names spelt differently and My Name Is Ackle Ackinckacker are all hilarious.
Guys I recall the first sony dvd players in I think 1978-79 the dvds were the same size as L,Ps. It was difficult to buy the dics still got Saturday night fever, hello again, & the guns of Navarre. They were £20-£30 Each could never afford the player though but like peter kay I've got about 50 vhs tape can't recall what on them but I have a vhs player. But ca t be bothered to check them. There are still films that are only available on vhs one being whoopi goldberg burglar. Have you looked up not the 9,0.clock news.
When my son was 2 years we let fed him little bit soft rice with squash or pumpkin but he refused and said already full. But when we show some sweets 🧁🎂 🤣😆😁🤣😆 he tapped my wife and told he's hungry 😁🤣😆🤣😁🤣😆
Also if you're looking for more family friendly McIntyre videos without cussing etc... it's any videos like this with the blue background and "big show" sign, as it's BBC 7pm Saturday night Show in the UK. Just proves you can be absolutely hilarious without being at all offensive. Better mention a segment in this show he does is called "celebrity send to all" where he gets a celebrities cell phone on the big screen on stage while they are in the royal box to his left with their family/friends & sends an embarrassing text to their entire phonebook & then reads the replies later in the show, my favourite is ex Irish boy band member Ronan Keating, hence the accent he does. Mcintyre, along with Kay & Flanagan will definitely help you get to a 100k guys, as they have such a huge following & loads more new material on the way from all 3 from there current UK tours that everyone will be reacting to.
Hi Guys, I’m just new to your channel and am enjoying it immensely! Thank you! I especially like seeing Jody(?) get embarrassed watching Sarah Milligan! Very funny woman. Have you reviewed anything from Billy Conelly yet? He’s a world renowned Scott’s comedian who is a must watch. There are heaps of his videos on YT to pick from. Cheers from New Zealand
a jumper is a cardigan without buttons.. In South Africa we call them jerseys. It is a knitted long sleeve pullover style thing that keeps you warm.. What you call a jumper is a romper or playsuit in the UK.
Hi lovely couple you just got to watch Michael McIntyre on (women getting ready ) we all would love to see how you both compare your lives to this have fun
A jumper is a woollen top down to the waist with sleeves and a round snug fitting neck hole so can be pulled on and off over the head, generally worn as an extra layer for warmth on colder days or seasons of the year, if it is split at the front with buttons to close it, its called a cardigan.
He has another segment about how people without children just don’t know what it’s like. Similar but sufficiently different to be well worth a watch.
Totally agree.
Its brilliant 😂
That's my favourite lol
My favourite too! 👍
TOTALLY agree, that sketch is amazing
Jumper is a knitted sweater. I think Jodie is talking about what we call a jumpsuit.
The man drawer , the dentist sketch or the one about 5 spice, all great
Great recommendations
5 spice will always be one of my favourites
My youngest afew times a week takes himself to bed, brushes his teeth, asks just to be tucked in, no book just a cuddle and after a long day, its the greatest gift ever! 😂 hes 6 and can be the exact depiction in this sketch, but sometimes is the sweetest little boy in the world and helps non stop haha
A jumper is what you call a sweater.
A Jumper in the UK is a knitted sweater. What you described as a jumper would be called a jump-suit in the UK.
A sweater (North American English) or pullover, also called a jersey or jumper (British English and Australian English), is a piece of clothing, typically with long sleeves, made of knitted or crocheted material, that covers the upper part of the body.

A jumper is a sweater and the overall suit is a jumpsuit and or dungarees - UK 😊
My twin boys begged me for ear stretchers when they where about 15 years old. BEGGED me! I flat out said Nope, not happening and refused to give in to them. a jumper is called a jumper because its made of wool, and lambs jump.
The word comes from Arabic "jubba" which is a tunic type clothing. That eventually became jumper in English to mean a short coat or tunic or pullover.
He compares the wheel. jumper is a sweater, a pullover.
Michael McIntyre is hilarious 😂 😆

Well said, yes the man drawer was one of his first main trademark skits that people got to know him for.

I have seen him live 3 times and he is absolutely brilliant.

A jumper is a British term for a Jersey, pullover or sweater.

I think sweater might be the more common name for it in the US, although here in the UK (at least me) it’d be more common to say jumper or pullover.
Please watch Michael's skit on 'long term relationships'. It's hilarious!
👕 A jumper is similar to this picture, but normally with longer arms and goes over your shirt
Thats a tshirt..unless your arms are a foot long 🙂
Someone has maybe already updated on this - but a jumper for us would be a sweater/pullover for you i believe.
