Rise of the Sith! A living weapon of rage and bloodthirst, Darth Maul has stayed in the shadows of Coruscant waiting for his chance to strike against the Jedi Order! However, since tasting his first blood, the Sith Lord struggles to contain his desire for destruction and questions the wishes of his methodically plotting master. Could Maul have had another path in life, or was he always fated to follow a dark road?

Darth Maul on paper sounds like a cool villain with no personality, and in episode one that is largely what he was. He was a cool baddie in visuals and little else, not much depth and very little character...or so we thought. The comics and expanded media had the time and resources to touch upon his character and most intriguing of all his psyche. To see the inner workings of a soul so twisted and conditioned by the darkest mind in star wars history and then to see that being living past the parameters set for him and fending for himself...it's both engaging and terrifying. Maul is now not just a cool villain, he is a cool character. One you guys have done amazing work with and given a chillingly fitting voice
Yet the actor of Maul had such good grace in body acting, and the hand gestures taunts he gave Obi Wan just made me/ us want more action scenes of him.
As they said 20 years ago what made Maul so great, he had no dialog that could sound screwed up or wooden. He was prefect as a silent movie monster.

@@felixrae3460 The tragedy of Darth Maul is he's unable to escape the cycle of violence that is his life, sideous made him a monster and when he survived beyond his limits he was still a monster, and yet we saw that was not the limit to his character. Through his interactions with other characters like Savage and later Ezra he's got a lot going on for him, even to his bittersweet end

The Rise of Skywalker was the most planned movie in the whole saga. Yes, I said the _whole_ saga. It checked all the boxes. It would've been a bit boring had it not made a few fans mad. Palpatine returning was the perfect end, but Ben dying was what killed it for most people.
Have patience, though. There is much to learn between RotJ and TFA, as well as other things going on in the galaxy.

Years ago my RPG store ran Star Wars role playing games. Every once in a while they do a
" Maul Hunt," where a group of urban pagan force witches hunt Maul for sport " breeding." So in our Star Wars campaign setting, Maul has a few dozen children running around.

I read the other comics about him as well. And Darth Maul killed many people who do *not* present a threat !
He is my favourite character, but Maul is without doubt a cold-hearted and cruel savage.
Palpatine kidnapped Maul when he was a kid and trained him to be a Sith, brainwashed him as well. This is before Phantom Menace and during this time he literally is blood thirsty to fight and kill a Jedi to the point where he has to kill to hold him over. It's dark but he's still my favorite character. True warrior.

Your attention to detail is amazing just like I would’ve done. Had I known you were doing this. I wouldn’t have started mine. I’m doing this exact comic, just cause I assumed I didn’t see anyone do this. I never really searched for anything like this. I have all the voices now just need to edit and put it all together. Just implementing my Impression of Sam Witwer’s Maul. I don’t want to step on your toes, or anyone’s for that matter. This is amazingly done and well put together. Certainly a higher quality than what I have in mind. I just have the comic pages as a whole not like this. This brings it to life. 😩👌🏽💯

If only Darth Maul listen to Palpatine he might have not lost like the last time or the time before that or the time before that or the time before that or the time before that I think I made my point pretty clear if Darth Maul didn't let his anger become his master he could have achieved more and successfully but because of that of letting his anger become his master he finally died and that's where his anger left him .buried in the Sands of Tatooine. Just like Palpatine said he was a lost

Was worst about maul's views on the Jedi is that he is right about many of his assumptions, he's just trying to rid the galaxy of that kind of sin the wrong way

They don't make the comics. They just add really good voice acting and editing.
