As a Minnesotan I’m very glad that Disembodied, a band from my home state, have had the influence and impact that they do. I mean, Knocked Loose have some Disembodied influence in em and they’ve played Coachella. Imagine taking influences from some relatively obscure Minnesotan Metalcore band from the 90’s and bringing those influences to Coachella. Absolutely miraculous. Long live Disembodied.
I sincerely hope this cover version brings people to listen to Disembodied. The importance and legacy of that band can't be understated.
I've always been a big fan and i think they deserve waaaaaay more praise than they ever got. But that's mostly the case with influential underground bands. The heaviest band in hardcore. Still worthy of that title. Is Disembodied dead? Well... long live Disembodied.
Big thanks to the artists in this clip. You've helped in carving the name a bit deeper into the heavy music monolith.
