    Hi,
    Thank you , the explanation was clear. For second example you said for 3 phase. The voltage for 3 phase is 440 volts . In calculation you considered as 230. Kindly let me know if it right. Thank you

      Phase voltage is considered in capacitor bank calculations because capacitor banks are used to correct the phase difference between the voltage and current in an AC power supply. Phase voltage is 230 Volts.440 or 415 V is the line voltage.
