If you don't mind me sharing my first experience with this song and the game, my family and I were at Toys R Us. Back when demo of games used to be in toy and game stores. I was excited to see a 3D sonic game. Super So ic was the character I chose. Don't know how he was already unlocked. When I played, it was the first time I heard games with clear voices. I grew up on Sonic the hedgehog 2 which was my first game in life. I never got a dreamcast but was a great memory. I enjoyed the song and sang it too after. This was back in 90s before internet so I couldn't listen to it when I wanted. I used to have a music library in my head that I'd draw from and start humming or singing in my head at any time of the day. Tha KS for reaction!
My top 5 Sonic OSTs (in no particular order) Sonic R Sonic CD (Japanese) Sonic Heroes Sonic 2 Sonic 3 and Knuckles But there's also many standout tracks from Sonic Rush, Sonic Adventure 2, Sonic Colors, Sonic Unleashed, and Knuckles Chaotix. The series' most consistent feature is great music

Metropolis Street Racing isn't a Sonic game, but has a soundtrack done by the same people who did this Soundtrack, including TJ Davis. I haven't listened to it all but what I listened to was really good.

You missed the remixed version made for Sonic generations it’s probably better than this one. Also there is a ter list but would take you a while since it’s a long list and may need to re-listen to all the songs just to properly grade it
