The U.S. government: always too little too late. Same with the church. It has yet to repent of its sins and reform of its doctrines that will account for more being lost to "perdition" than gained to "everlasting life." This is the result of "the wickedness of the wicked" who are as far from repentance as HD1 is from the Earth.
McConnell is politically beyond stupid. So long as he's there, shutting down makes sense. He is a big part of what's wrong with our current government. What Mitch needs to be doing is called retirement.
