Sir, where did you get all his instrumental sounds in that song? If my memory serves me correctly, using the wheel/toggler is a modulator. Also, if you don't mind me asking. What kind of keyboard and recording software are you using? By the way, you recreated that beautifully.
I’m still skeptical about the claim he wrote this song. Why wasn’t Andre able to write anything else on this level of genius? I think he probably came up with the bass line and Prince added the piano and strings. Perhaps this was why Prince dropped the bass on when doves cry.

No it was written by Prince but the bassline is in question whether or not "Dre" originally created it when he and Prince were jamming years prior to Prince actually recording the track in the studio for the "Controversy" album.

All sounds are coming from Logic Pro X. Any controller will work to trigger the sounds within the music software etc.
