Hopefully all you Karina fans understand that I really wanted to give this product a good review. BUT, you just have to watch to see what happens.
This kit was HIGHLY requested by you guys. I was super nervous about it because I am not out to get anyone and I don't want to be attacked by a million Karina Garcia fans for saying anything negative. BUT I still felt I needed to be honest about this product.
I still feel like I could have done something wrong to get these results. But I honestly WANTED this to work.

*RESPONSE TO THE COMMENTS*
*1.* AS PREDICTED, I have gotten quite a few hate comments. Fine. But I do wanna say that *I WAS NOT MEAN* in this video as some people have said. I never attacked Karina personally and I TRIED to make the kit work and point out all the positives I could.
*2.* People keep telling me I should have glued the paint back on, buuuttt I don't think that would work too well. Also, if you have to improvise to get the kit to work, it's not a good kit.
*3.* Yes, I let the paint dry long enough. Anyway, the paint being more dry is not going to make it stick better. Fabric paint gets LESS sticky as it dries, not more sticky
*4.* The reason this kit doesn't work is because the foam is too smooth. fabric paint (or puffy paint) is meant for FABRIC which usually has a lot of texture to it. If the surface is very smooth, the paint will peel off (same thing happens with the soft n slo diy squishies).
For those of you wondering: Paint WILL NOT peel off of poly foam, memory foam, makeup sponges or regular squishies. It is just the pure white, blank and super smooth ones that the paint will peel off of.

Chicken Nugget that’s because people are ignorant and don’t understand people are entitled to their opinions. Even if you don’t agree you have to respect the person opinion. I swear young people these days “under 25” have no concept of common sense, respect and a backbone. Some are too overly sensitive over an opinion and think hating changes ones opinion. If the product isn’t good, I’m not buying it. She showed that when you squish it the paint peeled off. It’s a squishy it’s meant to be squished.

As a Karina fan, I am really happy that she was 100% honest, I’d rather have her be 100% honest than me going out and wasting my money on something that was bad anyway where I could’ve gotten something else. (It has happened). There is no reason for anybody to be mad at Moriah, I don’t think people would be happy if they bought this kit and it turned out to be very bad where you could’ve gotten something else. You might as well thank Moriah for saving you from wasting your money.

I'm rewatching this video and I noticed everyone saying they were looking for hate comments. I was around when this was first put out and yes there WAS tons hate towards Moriah. I noticed Karina fans getting super upset and being overly offended and there was even a few that I saw attacking Moriah's character/personality/appearance which should have nothing to do with a product review to begin with. I guess haters realized that you can't comment awful things on someone's video and not expect their fans to clap back and just deleted their comments. That's my best guess at least

@@beckystewart898 They're likely just pushed all the way back by the algorithm. If you scroll far enough to reach the OLD old comments, I'm sure you'll see all of them. People who leave hate comments likely do it on impulse without giving it much thought, and that's why they also fail to separate fair criticism from blind insult. Can't expect someone like that to even remember they said awful things, let alone to have the courtesy to revisit/delete them.
on videos like these featuring another youtuber, usually a youtuber would comment to support them! im kind of suprised karina didnt comment to at least try and CONTROL her fans who attacked moriah for simply stating her own opinion. moriah was genuinely sad too, and she really wanted this to work. as moriah explained in the pinned comment, any hater shouldn't have attacked her because she tried so hard and was really sad when it failed. she really wanted this to work and she was afraid of the people who were going to attack her, which shouldn't have happened anyways. dont attack someone because another person's product or thing didn't work. i just thought i would rant a bit. 😌

@@ocelotlesbian i know but still. i think every popular youtuber should search their name once and a while, not for just fun but because a lot of people make videos on them and they should support that. i know that not all of them have the time for that kind of stuff because of their schedules, but it shouldnt take that long to type in their name and put a nice comment on a video or two. it would be pretty nice and probably stop haters from attacking the youtuber who did nothing wrong. (sorry this is long, i tend to accidentally right paragraphs with everything i do)

Great video, honest review! You are not hateful towards Karina at all. You are entitled to your own honest opinion and $20 is expensive for such a mediocre kit with barely enough paint to fully deco both squishies. I holo deco squishies (on hiatus until further notice) and use my own concoction of paint/glue to deco. Chalk? I've never seen or heard of chalk being used to deco squishies! I personally would not buy any of her kits. Seems like the company doesn't care much whether the kits work or not as long as they sell because it has Karina's face on it. They just dump some supplies together and sell them without proper experimentation to make sure the kits work.

I have this squishy kit. Moriah isn't wrong- it's not the best quality. The puffy paint is so liquidy and thin, it's hard to use. I actually made one of these (The donut) a few minutes ago, that's why I am watching this video. The chalk worked pretty well, it was a little messy. but of course any chalk for squishies is messy, so that's not an issue. Also the sprinkles kept peeling off so easily. I originaly got the kit two years ago, but never did much with it. I got it on Christmas and made the cupcake the same day, and it worked decently. But it isn't the best quality.
Basically, those who are thinking Moriah is being a hater and attacking Karina, she's not- she tried her best and is telling the truth. Moriah is actually helping us, because if y'all buy this kit, you may think twice after reading my comment and watching this video. I hope everyone understands, thanks!!

for everyone hating on Moriah and saying she did everything wrong then don't. I have multiple of Karina's kits and they were all terrible quality, I'm almost 100% sure that she was just asked to put her face on the kits without testing them, I wouldn't make a product and sell it if it didn't work, you could tell moriah wanted them to work but they clearly didn't she tried her hardest to point out the positives but there weren't any, this is not me hating on Karina I am sure she never tested them or made them and was just asked to put her face on the box so it would sell better and Karina and Moriah post similar-ish content so im quite sure that this video would come up on Karinas feed and she watched it, she didn't even write a comment telling moriah that she didn't do anything but instead let her take the hate. Right now, Karina has nearly 10 million subscribers, she should know that having a large fanbase and selling rip off, bad quality products to that fanbase is not ok. She has a platform and has a product that has millions of purchases she must have tested it at least once like and she didn't even bother to tell her fans not to buy it as it was cheap, she just chose to waste her fans money. LOL I just realised how big this comment is and that no one will read it rip :(

Even if this kit was amazing, $20 is absolutely insane for a couple pieces of foam, some lousy paint and chalk. I could get something like that for $7.99 at Hobby Lobby.

I watched this video when it was posted, and yes, there were many hate comments. There were lots of people insulting Moriah’s character, which is just wrong. Moriah was never rude to Karina. This is just a product review, and by no means do the Karina fans have the right to insult Moriah for being honest about a kit.

I got this kit before I saw the vid, honestly it kinda sucked. I painted the cupcake with yellow paint and sprinkles and I ripped off the entire layer in one piece. Also you could totally tell Moriah was self conscious about saying bad stuff about the kit. Poor, girl 😢

I love the color tones and schemes you pick. I love your dry sense of humor. I love your creative mind. You have lifted me up out of some grief I have gone through recently. You are helping me reactivate my own creativity and I thank you for inspiring me. I really appreciate your uniqueness and inventiveness, if that's a word, lol. I went through so much loss and sorrow that I had a hard time finding anything that could bring a fondness to my heart and I am so fond of your videos. My hubby asks me if I'm watching more squishy painting videos. He sees I got a little addicted. LOL You're adorable and I love that you keep it clean. I have 7 kids and I've got them all watching you. My kids all say, "I wanna watch the squishy lady!" You've captured our attention and our hearts. She pulls in millions of views every video she posts. Moriah was smaller in terms of subscribers at the time she posted this video, and Missy Garcia was at her peak so she had more subscribers and support. But nowadays, let's be real, nobody really cares about Karina anymore. Her stans probably got bored of her. Ironically, Karina stans who were attacking Moriah on this video probably watches Moriah now lmao.
