greetings from malaysia. i hv one evo same color too,with white rg2 rims. just a few minor correction,hope u wont mind. 1. body isnt all aluminium,only the front hood,and the rear adjustable wing. 2. recaro i think all evo equipped from evo 1 to 10. rs no recaro, no ayc, no power windows, using LSD,i think no momo steering too. the car is fun to drive,though a bit tail happy with ayc still installed, even running on AD08R front 245 40 R18, rear 265 35 R18, still tail happy rear wanna slide out if compared to my sti v9.
Was thinking of staying on 225s but with the ad08Rs, but could go 235. Did you have to shave the inner rear fender to fit 265s? I’m hoping to do a re-tune for sub 400hp, 300 torque on the stock turbo and internals for reliability haha
@@gabeatc rear 265 need a bit camber else will rub. rim spec is 18 8.5jj et31. front 245 actually will rub a bit inside whn turn full.overall i think 245 40 r18 all round is better. can add me at fb alvin chai.
The DMF one was given to me by the shop owner of DMFDrift and the Manila Chronicles one was during a documentary shoot on the local Philippine car scene :)

Nice bro but the aircon at the middle is not in the correct position. Is it possible to fix it? If I’m gonna buy an evo RHD then I will make sure is correct from LHD.
That sound on hard shifts. Was it from the clutch? Mine has a similar sound too and initially mistook it for wheel spin but it realized it happens on all gears on higher revs
@@gabeatc the sound seems to be coming from the front of the car which is why I didn't suspect diff. It happens just as I take the foot off clutch on high RPM shifts. I'm yet to take apart my clutch. My feeling is that this there is an uprated clutch pressure plate in place which is stopping the load from hitting the diff which makes hard shifts really smooth currently. I'll comment back once I do get to the root of it. Lovely car and keep it clean 💓

The entire underbody. Not the fenders or wheel wells specifically. But mainly the rear spare tire holder, front rad support, and under the front door sills.

Literally the only part I hate about my white evo 6. Between rail dust, paint fade, and water marks, it's the worst color to maintain.

That sound on hard shifts. Was it from the clutch? Mine has a similar sound too and initially mistook it for wheel spin but it realized it happens on all gears on higher revs
Maybe its the diff? I just had my clutch changed to a stage 1 single plate exedy racing clutch
