Great video as always mate! I agree with you 100% that snapper like the pressure edge of structure and jewwies sit in behind it when the tide is running. Keep up the great work and enjoy those snapper fillets 👌🎣
Hey mate where abouts are you when your snapper got flogged up? New to brissy just curious you kept saying coral didn't think there was that sort of structure around here
Hey Marty, i just came back from the port fishing this location. I just cant seem to get my sidescan working as well as yours on my hds live unit. What settings do you normally run in these conditions? Cheers!
Hey mate, it depends on the what the waters like. If the water isn’t too bad I’ll run 800khz but I can imagine it would have been fairly dirty so probably would be best to run at 455khz just to get a bit more distance. When there’s a lot of particles in the water the image often isn’t very clear on 800khz.
Hey bro thanks for the feed the family loved it. Love the channel cheers bro.
Thanks Marty
Thanks man!
You’re more than welcome, I’m glad you and your family enjoyed it. 🙂🤙
Gret Video Marty
Love your work
Great to see such a productive session
Thanks mate!
Love it mate. Good to see the river still fishing pretty well after all this rain. Shame about the jewies but glad they didnt go to waste. Cheers
Thanks heaps buddy. Yeah it is a shame, I much prefer to see those fish swim off healthy that’s for sure. 👍
Great vid mate, and informative 👍
Thanks buddy! 🤙

@@martytuckerfishing Cheers mate 😁🙌
There are some stonker bream in the river. With most people chasing snapper, threadys and jew they don’t face a huge amount of pressure either.
Definitely, they’re good fun to I reckon.
big bream right on top of the tide on those Gateway pylons
Certainly is mate.
Good stuff 👍👍👍👌
Thanks mate! 🙂

Hey mate, I was up the river. Coral was probably the wrong word to use. It’s all rocky up there where I was fishing for the most part.
@@martytuckerfishing haha rodgey mate. Is it anywhere near the port at all mate? I'll be headed there on the weekend
@@wyattgrant329 yeah mate it’s down the port. If you’re out this weekend I might see ya there haha.
@martytuckerfishing if I spot ya out there you might have a follower hahahaha 😅
big cod took it I reckon, This is how they were pulling when we kept hooking them off DI one year
Yeah mate, definitely a big cod or QLD grouper I reckon. 🤙👍

what combo u using?
Reel is a Daiwa Tatula SV 70 and rod is a Samaki Zing Extreme v2 6-12lb.
Drop weight
I’ve got one and use it often. I still highly doubt that fish would have survived even with a drop weight.
