Random fact, this was the third facelift of the 9th gen Civic. The first and second versions of the 9th gen Civic are very difficult to differentiate. Visually on the outside the first version of the 9th Gen had a slate gray nose and it did not have a gloss black panel where the bootlid H badge is mounted. The second version of the 9th gen got a gloss black nose and gloss black panel where the bootlid H is mounted. It also got rear privacy glass, the lower glass section of the split rear tailgate became tinted, the rear bumper was amended to have black plastic on the lower section where the reflectors are located, the wheels were revised to diamond cut alloys and the interior trim got a revised alcantara feeling cloth. The third facelift of the 9th gen (as seen in this video) visually got a thorough overhaul, all bumpers were revised, lights were revised (this was the first 9th gen that incorporated the drl's into the headlight unit), a rear lip spoiler was introduced (previously this was instead a wrap around light cluster), new black alloy wheels, new interior cloth, and new infotainment system. Also this last gen 9 version gained the Type R variant.... ... which the running gear, engine and gearbox still underpins the 11th gen Civic Type R (FL5) to this day, although it is much modified now, but its still mostly the same.
@@Eoghany1980 Very low on stock right now, so nothing to suit, just keep an eye on the web, that’s all you can do! Maybe check out the north of Ireland to see if they have any ‘sport’ models up there which come with a similar specification🙂
@@doolanbrian I just bought a Civic SI the other day. It's metallic Blue like the one featured in one of your other videos. I think this video Might have just convinced me to go for it so I did. @@Eoghany1980 nice one ! Ok so this video is old and crap 💩 but it might help ua-cam.com/video/ONLvPGw-opY/v-deo.html 🙂✌️

Does the sport version add any upgrades to the suspension/chassis? I've heard this generation is as fun to drive as a 3 hour mass in your local church
Sport keeps the same chassis as normal .. I guess it depends on the driver if you want to evoke fun from a car 🙂👍
Showing Acceleration with "Econ" mode on? Good job :))

Is there any way to disable the driver warning popup in the infotainement system?
I’ve seen a customer override it , but I don’t know how he did it , I’ll bet there is a guide somewhere on the net though !!
I have a sport, mine has privacy glass, from the looks of it, my sport is missing the leather seats and moon roof
