Hey Steve, great presentation and insights. Please, could you give me some ideias to how build correct the .csv file for Arbitrary waveform? I tried find this information in the user manual without any good conclusion. The manual says something related to .arb files but my scope does not reconize this extension. Just .csv. I tried build this .csv file using the Ultra Station provided by RIGOL but unfortunately does not worked. Thanks for your time.
Steve, would you recommend this scope for the hobbist? I''m looking to purchase a scope for audio circuity work. My budget is $900 USD. Recommendations?
Well look at the DHO804 or 814 if you don't need logic analyzer input and freq generator. However I can do bode plot with the costlier 914s or 924s up to 25mhz which cover audio. I am about to show some video about this. Siglent is coming out with a 12 bits sds804X HD just now with seemingly better specs on paper. Also, you can probably get old DS1054z for a bargain now if it is your first scope if you only do analog signal.
The DHO900 series is a great choice for serious hobbyists. The scope capabilities for its price is impressive and above that its controls by GUI are surprisingly performant. I would definitively recommend the 4 channels unit since most projets at a point or an other will involve microcontrollers; ardruino, ESP32, STM32 other devices. Furthermore, it can be mounted on an arm using the VESA mount behind the scope. It will save you bench space. It is more expensive than other 8 bit oscilloscopes but it worth every penny.
Great presentation. Continue your great work.

Best way would be to take my working files from github with the correct format and size and change the 8192 table.
@@stevelevesque939 Thank you!
Steve, how did you enable the cursors in FFT view? On my DHO804 it doesn't work.
when in the fft mode press cursor button
@@stevelevesque939 Thx. My fault was to choose CH1 instead of MATH1 as source for cursors.
