Jesus Christ- this is far beyond my wildest imagination- they just KILLED this song and arrangement- I've listened to this soundtrack for years, and now I'm seeing it performed live and it's INCREDIBLE!!!

Well yes, you'd expect some slip ups, especially when the singers don't speak the language. Not sure about the composer herself, though, since the lyrics were most likely written by her.

Drums killed the atmosphere.
I disagree, they give the song a real push forward. I think they add to the epicness and give the downbeats a really dramatic piercing quality. Then again, its probably personal preference.

Not at all, but they have control over it now. You should be able to catch their most recent concert if you go on the Canta-Per-Me Forums - it’s a full Vol. 1 Reprise complete with social distancing and whatnot, _very, _*_VERY_*_ nice._
From a traditional perspective, sure, but from an entertainment perspective I like it. It's a bit heavy but not massively over the top and gives a satisfying buzz.
I think its down to personal preference! I personally love large vibratos
That singer in a white hat, Yuriko Kaida, is well-known for her prominent vibrato whenever she starts to sing; so we can't hear her full song without that lovey vibrato.

We grew up with cartoons and video games, but we never really grew out of them.I have friends that still collect "action figures", although nowadays they're called anime figurines, and you're supposed to display them rather than play with them. We're the generation that still plays with RC cars, boats, planes, drones, ... Our parents left their children's toys behind when they became "responsible adults"; we just made our toys grow with us.
Noir OST is honestly still Kajiura's best work. And yeah it has been a very long time. 2001 lmao. I remember getting it from really slow torrents in like 2003.
