My granddad, my stepdad were in YNA. And now I think it will be a great tribute when I join Slovenian army as reservist.

Why you wont serve in the same army as them?

I'm 22 years too late for that. Yugoslavia fell apart in 1991 and so did Yugoslavian National Army. Former countries of Yugoslavia made their own armies, and one of them is Slovenia. Besides, I'm slovenian so are my granddad and stepdad. Hope it makes sence :)

Your granddad and stepdad were Yugoslovenian and i am sure that they joined the army to protect and serve Yugoslavia then.Joining the army of the first country that broke from that country is poor tribute dont you agree.
PS:Dont be mad or anything it is just way of how i see things.

Well it is something... And back then they didn't have much choice as military sevice was required for every citizen. Slovenian army was always here. Just under differend name. Fair point, but like I already wrote, it is something.

Only 13 tanks were destroyed during whole conflict... if you take in count that Yugoslavian army deployed 1024 of them its minor loss.

Albenia is nothing. USA will would be faling apart. If Yugoslavia continued we would be the strongest empire by now .. Slavic power
