Goddamn, I love the harmonies and chords in this. The slight detune of the lead saw makes it so much more interesting, too. I've always been a fan of these sorts of harmonies, from Clockwork to gg to Polaris. Can't believe I haven't heard this until now!
I can see why they entitled it last life, it’s eerie and sends burst of energy pulses. The hook encapsulates a sense of doom with high pitch bells in the background on a dark note. They were very intentional in their track name, no doubt about it.
