Just a Friend, Then a Boyfriend

The plaintiff and defendant used to be in a relationship. He believed the defendant, his ex-girlfriend, was cheating on him because she started spending time with another man. Now, she and that man are in a relationship. He’s suing for rent. The defendant argues she and that man was nothing more than friends when she was with the plaintiff. She doesn’t think she owes him anything.
