Once again, thank you for slowing it down, and allowing us to learn some of your techniques. When you do the bottom okf the doors please go real slow. I' m enjoying the videos big time! WW
Great job my friend! Really enjoy your videos. I’ve watched you repair some really complicated stuff.. wondered myself how it all was put together. You make it look so easy. Hope you continue your videos with metal repair. I’ll keep watching! Thanks!
I have a 64 GMC getting ready to do a lot of rust repair on it and and i was wondering where the best place to start is floors or rockers and since Gibson63 does an excellent job i figured who better to ask
starting the rockers first gives you a good lineup with the cab corner, fender, and door, just don’t cut them all off at once. But cutting rockers off first you will still have to do inner rockers and some floor patch work
@@Gibson63. thank you brother Been waiting a long time to get this project underway it's time and i want it done right thanks for the videos they will help a lot
what is the metal piece between the rocker panel and drivers seat called, and where did u get it.its a big piece and i want to change it on mines instead of patching it up. i have the other parts from auto metal direct. thanks.
yea, I did my passenger side door with .030 and it warped so bad I had to buy a door, , good to see David Welch doing videos again, I wish I was in his neck of the woods to help him out with his new shop.....
Doug Beckwith I used .030 when I first started welding but change to .025 for some reason, I learned a lot from watching David Welch when I first started the restoration on my red truck
I have a 1960 Chevy panel truck and think it's great that this guy has so many videos showing how he repairs
