@@georgetk same I love seeing the cars on edge. But the modern cars i also like because of the insane speed into corners and all that stuff. It makes it all the more satisfying when you do a really good lap with such unstable cars
Yeah that’s why I only use the ACR F2004 it’s much more realistic. Stickier tyres like the 2000s ones, and more power. I think Kunos used the clienti version of the F2004, as it’s a car that Ferrari customers can drive if they have enough money. Engine is tuned down irl and tyres are not the prestige Bridgestone ones, but some less grippy ones.
@@Tom97 I remember that Friday being dry, so I look it up. Maybe a low 1:44 was possible. Or even a 1:43. Times fastered by 1 second from Friday to Saturday. Of course, weather played a big part on that weekend. Thanks for pinning the comment!
What other circuits would like to see? I've got Nurburgring on my list (if I can find the old version) Revisiting the old Silverstone: ua-cam.com/video/misIjDLRtmM/v-deo.html Revisiting the old Hockenheim: ua-cam.com/video/uCxPrWzodY4/v-deo.html
I think some manual brake bias adjust corner to corner may help with lap time. You can see modern F1 drivers adjusting torq and brake bias on the steering wheel corner to corner when the camera is onboard.
I would love to see a video like this on the old Hungarian GP layout, i know that is not the most popular circuit, but i think it would be very exciting to see these cars go between those huge kerbs they had back in then. (i am saying not the first layout, cuz it has a stupid chichane before T4, but the layout after that (if i know right it was used from 1988 or something) (also i don't know if there is a mod for that layout, but i would be suprised if there isnt)
Compared Kimi's 2005 Monaco pole lap to the 2019 (2020 slow corner performance was surprisingly slower than 2019 based on analysis of Spain sector 3) qualifying sector times from Monaco (currently the fastest overall lap) and the fastest final sector in 2019 was 18.667 by Hamilton in the 2019 Mercedes W10. Kimi Raikkonen with a tighter swimming pool chicane (albeit in this light, nimble, grippy, powerful car) did the final sector in 17.516 (1.151 seconds quicker over the final sector alone). This car was amazing in low speed corners.....and it had grooved tires that had to last a race distance as well. Imagine this on the 2019 or 2022 rubber (with the same wheel rims and stuff because that actually affects it quite a bit).....lovely.
The W11 is the best car ever build. i really think nothing will ever get close to it! would have loved to see in direct comparison where the 2022 cars would have been timewise :p but great video Tom!!!
you should try that w11 on the kunos version of spa, I managed to get a 1:41.9 with a controller so i think you could get into the 1:40`s or 1:39`s I used 14, 15 wings and manual ERS, -2.7 camber front, -1.4 camber rear, lower ride hight, higher ARB front and rear and higher wheel rate front and rear last 3 change alot between different people and your the only person who knows how you like the suspension, dont lower suspension to much or you will shit yourself up eau rouge
Hi Tom, how do you get these cars on AC? Do you need to buy them? I’m thinking about getting AC as well but just want to know how much I need to spend to race with F1 cars
All of them with the exception of the F2004 are rips that use various assets of other people’s work without permission. Obtaining them is actually a violation of copyright law.
Your name is not that bad Kakti F1 or Kakti racing but you need to get a New mic for sure not a mega qualşty one tho simce it will be New then you can improve
I know there’s a lot of nostalgia for the older cars, but seeing how the modern cars just stick to the road with such confidence is awesome
For me it’s the exact opposite, I love the more unstable cars :))

I think the 2004 cars on slicks will be a few seconds faster
Modern cars are too big for racing
I do agree, we'll appreciate them in a few years with the help of nostalgia...
The F2004 Ferrari V10…
The RB7 BLOWN DIFFUSER…
The W11’s absolute speed…
Divine…
combine together that 100% be the best F1 car ever produce
The default Kunos F2004 is actually underpowered compared to the actual late season F2004, by about 90 hp to be exact. That is a huge difference

Finally, the W11 😍
Only took 2 episodes of asking for it lmao
Had to try and find a good quality one!
@@Tom97 Bwoah
I hate to say it but I love the speed of this car, undeniably the fastest ever
Agreed!
Would love to see the 2012 McLaren at one point as well, it’s such a beautiful car and was the fastest car that year
4:18 F1 2004 For the ps2 was also my First F1 Game that is soooo nostalgic when i watch old gameplay 😂
Pre-2004 was the "real" bus stop chicane, as you say.

15:50 most satisfying flat out
The layout prior to 2003-04 was even better re. Bus Stop. This one was always seen as a very watered down version.
True! I wonder if there exists a version for AC with the "original" Bus Stop

Ferrari F2004 was a true beast!
You gotta drive this track with the F2004 slick version !
i love the Mercedes PU Sound, the downshifting is amazing.
19:46 this sound 😍

The screaming sound of V10 & V8 engine are music to ears
i would use the rss formula 2013 instead of the red bull you used as it is a tiny bit faster
So much better than the modern version.
In F1 2011 you could do Eau Rouge with the DRS open😂
Spa looks so much narrower in this verison, this is how spa should be!
seriously? with these wide modern cars?

the 2018 mercedes the w09 also took it flat in q2 before the rain...there is a video on it on youtube
I believe it's the Mercedes-AMG F1 W11, with V6 engine, 8-speed semi-auto quick gear, going faster than any Formula 1 car at the Spa-Francorchamps.
Very interesting seeing the difference in the cars over the years.
Love these comparison episodes!! This Thisssss is a Tom classic 😉👏👏🍾🍾💪💪💪
Great! But I keep thinking what that F2004 would do with slick tyres
Best version of Spa
I love this type of video
Always find it weird how so many tracks f1 races on seem to have some sort of reconfiguration every handful of years
I love the V8

What steering wheel do you use?
Please do the even older layout with masta
Didn't use any kers with the rb no?
wanna have ur graphic filter.. it looks so good and realistic like iracing
you could use a longer 7th gear with the RB since you have kers
How do you get your T-cam like that?
Love this Series pls keep it going❤
i think sainz went through pouhon flat this year too
Hi Tom. Can you give me camera settings for ferrari?
¡Gran vídeo!
could you do a sazuka hot lap vid comparing different cars
That is like the bit in Miami
ok. now put DRS on F2004 and it should devour everything because the racepace was as fast as the qualy pace but the W11 has the racepace much slower
Race pace was as fast as quality pace, because they were running with race fuel in Q3 lmao

the grip and downforce of 2020 despite being 33% heavier.....mad. Shame about the low speed grip, rate of direction change/rotational agility.
I think that you could've gone for Hotlap mode on W11
Was close in terms of running out of energy.
Wtf is that red bar next to his throttle, not the brake one the other one
that means his ffb is clipping
You should use V12 too for the next one, pleeeeeeeease
I would, but the V12's are just too slow, the V10's still hold up.
The new one is much better imo
What wheel do you use 😍
He is using Thrustmaster TS-PC racer with the Open Wheel Rim
I have no engine sound in RB7 (only part where you talk)

your ffb is clipping a lot
The W11 is a monster, easily the fastest F1 car of all time.
Ouï accord pas soucis avec mon fiancé Charles Leclerc je te aime fort 💙🧡💜❤️
This wasn’t the old Spa at all.
Mate, can you stop using ripped mods to do videos? Makes the AC mod community look bad.
Can you go into more detail?
