There just isn't any doubt that Dissentient is the best album of 2015
+BrickWolfy The Anthropocene Extinction was pretty amazing imo wins best of 2015 for me, but this is pretty damn great too.
+chronic condition Well Dissentient was the best deathcore album 2015 for sure. (Lorna Shore, Black Tongue and A Night In Texas come close) but for death metal yeah The Anthropocene Extinction was a fucking beast. Cattle Decap are on another level. If it wasn't for Abysmal, it would've been my Death metal AOTY easily.

Matt. You little handsome existence. I've been listening to your solos on this album for quite some time and I have to say this. Your guitar work sounds like classical music. Listening to you, you don't strike me as a metal person rather than a classical music one. That structural combinations you make on this album and the melodies you implemented were really something new to me on a deathcore band. So I said to myself "sounds classical, but can you back it up?". And oh boy I did. I transferred those solos of yours on piano and a friend of mine said "whose song is this?". So I gave him the original song and his response was "wtf?". Now his trying to do the same on his cello. Matty boy, you have a special place in my heart :*
