I am impressed with Valegro and Ms Dujardin. I am even more impressed that she and Mr Hester train their own horses. It must take many, many people from all avenues to support this sport. Not everyone can ride and train, but what a fine group you have. Wishes for more success in the future.. May all the horses stay fit and happy.

what a beautiful horse is he ,well it will be very very hard to replace and any horse to beat him looks ,comformation,movement,temperment. chris

Amazing, but they didn’t seem like they were at the top of their game. Maybe it was the angle, or the music. Did you see how he was frothing at the mouth though?

We have to be careful we don’t over analyse the videos; I can only remember being there, immersed in the moment and thinking I was witnessing history being made. I think I said at the time the score was immaterial; this was Charlotte and Valegro saying here we are, this is what we do, can you beat us!

He always froths because he likes playing with the bit. And that was the first time they actually ran through that program in competition.

You do realise they scored over 90% - actually 90.625. There aren’t that many dressage riders that have scored over the 90% mark probably less than a dozen.
