Got into the hobby during Covid and because of price gauging on primary and secondary market, certain awful people on pinside , life coming back to normalcy and cringe narcissist content creators this hobby is slowly moving out of sight in my rear view mirror. Thank you Josh and Scott - I appreciate you taking a stand on this. I've always appreciated and respected that you focused on the hobby and not the drama. However, it adds credibility to your commentary when you do come out and speak against the bullying that takes place, and has taken place for years.
I'm confused on the rant start? You don't make it public what and who, but I just tuned into hear about pinball. Why do I have to hear if it's between you and some other person? Why not call them? Cause if I don't need to know, then why am I knowing? And if it's worth bringing up to an audience, why does information need withheld for us? Why can't we have the info and make our own decisions on what's going on? I'm not trying to be a toxic part of the pinball community, I'm genuinely out of the loop on what is going on. I just tune in and hear "toxic rant". I don't take part in toxic culture. If it's worth handling, say it open and what needs said. If it's not worth handling, keep those who just want to hear pinball news and discussion out. Either join the toxic or stand against not giving it a second. Cause all these pinball podcasts are flooded with it and I need to know which ones to ignore cause I'm over it. There's one in particular that I hear negative negative negative and won't listen to ever again. My apologies for my ignorance. I just wanted to say that as someone not in the know, this wasn't accommodating to give me any info.

In retrospect, we should have brought the audience up to speed about that. We do apologize. There is just alot of drama going on surrounding This Week In Pinball's New owner Colin and Kaneda's Pinball Podcast via social media posts and podcasts about the TWIPY awards. Drama around the TWIPYs isn't uncommon but this year has felt like it has come to a head. So we wanted to say our peace on it. We agree with you that you, our audience, tunes in for pinball coverage, and that's what we like to do. But after seeing everything that has been happening, we wanted to give our stance of how we feel about bullying in the hobby
I saw a post on Facebook this morning from one of them and it's spoiling and going over jaws stuff. I called him out on just relaxing and not spoiling Christmas for everyone. It's right around the corner and wasting time on it now and what it might be seems silly. The energy seemed too intense for me to give 10 seconds to. I stick to Instagram, the few FB groups I choose, and spotify podcasts. Thanks for clarifying. Pinball is great when you go share it with your community locally. The online stuff is getting crazy these days. Everyone be nice to each other and get out there and go learn, teach, or share pinball with a loved one or a curious stranger. I'm blessed to have a great local arcade that I'd love to welcome all to come visit. That shows me what pinball needs to be in my life👍
