Intro to this movie is a masterpiece. Baroque music mixed with portrait of King Philip II. Saw the whole El Dorado DVD rip yesterday with polish subtitles, great historic cinema. On some aspects way better than Herzog's Aguirre, Wrath of God.

Jose Castle, desde España, esta película no ha sido suficientemente valorada pese al crédito de tener en la dirección a uno de los más reconocidos como Carlos Saura. Para mí es lo mejor que se ha hecho sobre la conquista española de América, magníficos actores, fotografía, guión y banda sonora. Tengo la suerte de tener DVD. Saludos.

This is a Spanish movie..... a really good one... and is a historical one... I recommend you to look over "eBay España"... or another placer where you can import ir... You will never find this kind of material on iTunes
