I still remember when I first saw your T-Rex redesign, it feels so long ago. Glad to see how far you’ve come man

I came to the channel a couple of weeks ago, as someone looking for metasounds tutorials to jumpstart my own unreal engine work. I’ll be on your Patreon on day one. Thanks for kicking ass and putting knowledge out there.

Heck ya Marcel and Libby at FREETOUSE Sounds are awesome. Always loved your channel, but yes I would love to see you get out of that room LOL, and on location. I still do miss the occasional classic Sound Design challenges with live feedback, but I know that required a lot of time but maybe once and a while might be cool if possible.

Thank you for sharing your knowledge. I just want to let you know that there are still people who support you in a far away area. I am in Taiwan. Although it is far away, I will support you. Live in good health and be happy every day

this is the best content creator of all time, he makes stuff like patreon but dont push people out, he even want to help you from direct messages, which I have never seen before.
this content maker is as more creators should be, and I must say thank you for all the tips on audio in unreal, it really gave me a boost, and what a fun time I had when you where doing the chip challenge live (for me and 4 others).
and I know you said thank you, but I think we have to say thank you! you make our live's so much fun and easier, and lets hope this channel will also grow as in a community, I would be here to the road to 10.000 and higher! so again, big thanks and have a great year!

check out Zencaster for podcast distribution :) it’s cool to see the channel evolve and looking forward to what you cook up in 23. Best wishes

Thanks for that tip. I'll definitely look into it. I've been looking into Buzzsprout as well as seeing what it would take to manually set up my own RSS feed.

@@TheSoundFXGuy no probs, I used to work a lot with RSS in the golden days of web marketing but things have shifted a lot. A load of sharing sites have made it difficult to do a lot of the free gubbins you used to be able to do. The folks at thatufopodcast use zencaster and work closely with them, Andy’s pretty helpful with advice so they may be able to put you in touch with a human.

Could you please share or make a video about where do you actually get good sound effects and ambiences? Everyone on sfx videos just happen to magically get them preemptively.

Yeah I could probably do that. I'm guilty, myself, of starting videos after having already gotten the sounds. I will say that the majority of the sounds I use in my videos come from sound libraries I own. Whether it's free libraries I've come across over the years or ones I've bought or won in sound design contests. But I could probably do a video going into more depth on that.
