one important thing to know about this board is that if you use one or both of the m.2 slot bellow the first pcie slot, the pcie slot will become x8 instead of x16 since they are using a switch to share the pcie 4.0 bandwidth between the x16 and the m.2 slot.
Doesn't that kill the GPU performance though?
@@kamikaze00007 in terms of gaming you won't see a big difference, probably under 10% so only a few frames less. pcie 4 x8 will be about the same as pcie 3 x16.
Was just about to post this and noticed you had done it, I decided not to use those slots, as graphics cards get faster there will likely be more of an impact on performance so I don't want to start relying on them.

Not buying a nice MB till the new sockets are out. For my personal rigs anyway. If someone was to order one for a build thats all good. Nice MB though I was already peaking at it. GJ on the clip was motivated by it. 👍

Probably a dumb question. I have this MB. It has a nvme installed already (with 11th gen cpu). I was gifted two additional nvme 3x4 gen. I know it supports 4th gen but will it also support 3rd gen nvmes?

Owns a Ryzen CPU and still viewing the video. BTW - I think that this looks better than my Gigabyte x570 aorus pro wifi.
I am torn between going for a 5600X or a 3800X. They are basically the same price where I live, but the good with Intel is that I don't need to go to 3600 Mhz RAM so the system will actually cost less. I was set on moving to an AMD system for the first time, but it troubles me that 2 local stores, which I trust and use for whatever PC-related stuff I need, told me that Intel is more reliable and has fewer compatibility issues than AMD.
Is it possible to use two thunderbolt 3 add in cards with the two onboard headers?
As long as there are thunderbilt headers to add a tb card than yes

had upgraded recently to the 10600k, and will wait to upgrade til Intel changes the socket yet again next year...
The only downside ive seen of these new z590 is that you cant take advantage if pcie 4.0 without an 11th gen cpu. Although rn they dont make much of a difference, maybe sooner or later theyll make an impact
Question : Can i plug a 6 pin EPS plug into the 8 pin plug ? (it only has 6 pins but its physically an 8 pin plug) Pls help
That's not an EPS connector.

No and in addition to that, I'm pretty sure you will not even be able to use that slot unless you have an 11th Gen CPU even for 3rd gen NVMe.
No, a pcie 4.0 drive will not work at all with a 10th gen cpu.

I just got this board, nice looking but like many others it has its fault, referring to Realtek® ALC4080 Codec, on this board its bugged, very loud white noice after a while, and not only me but a lot of people who purchased this board has or had same issue, neither has Realtek fixed the issue and GIGABYTE says it is not there end.

I’ve had nothing but heat issues with this board and an 11600k. Almost at the point of replacing it with a MSI or Asus. Hell, I think a Biostar would perform better.

The powerplain is in thermal throttle and reaches 126 degrees celsius. I would never recommend this board. Its a bad board.

Amd is out of stock though and more expensive. Intel is more available and cheaper atm.
