I've gotten 30% for sinusitis that i claimed due to being expose to burn pit during my Afghanistan deployment. I didn't have to submit any medical evidence, i just went to va and told them about it and they gave me some allergy medicine.

I have chronic rhinitis and sinusitis. I was diagnosed recently from my private medical provider. Been going on since shortly after i got out. In Afghanistan i ran the burn pit and we had a 4 hole burnout. I claimed them a week ago and on the 30th i have a appointment with QTS. Will see what comes of it. Most of the time i can only breathe through 1 nostril.

I served in Germany from 1971 to 1973. I was inducted to the US Army in &970. Because of my education & profession I was assigned to the US Army Nuclear Medical detachment became a member of the Army’s Nuclear, Chemical & Biological 1st responder team. We used radioactive materials in training other military units in detecting radiations.
Radiation exposures were common occurrence when transporting radiation sources to different locations in Germany & other NATO countries. Under the Pact Act, Germany is not listed as one of the presumptive areas for radiation exposures. How can I determine my eligibility?

I served in Djibouti, during the period stated in the PACT-Act and still was denied my claim due to "no service connection"

Office of Intergovernmental affairs made a news release on Nov. 7 stated that the va will 'VA will prioritize delivering benefits to Veterans with cancer under PACT act'. How accurate this is I do not know.

Do Veteran's have to be seen by their Primary Physician or get any type of prescription pertaining to any of the presumptive symptoms listed in order to be granted VA disability rating for it?

I filed in 2014 and was denied, what I filed for was denied for service connection, I filed a supplemental in 2015 denied again, then in 2022 my diagnosis was an illness added by the pact act. So now do I try another supplemental or have to file an appeal to the whole mess?

Presumption of exposure are straightforward claim but presumption for chronic condition is harder to claim.

Hello. I love listening to you. Thank you for your service. I have a question. So I have 10% for Tinnitus and after that I filed a new claim for Hearing loss and 2 secondary claims (Migraines & Hyperacusis) at my in person C& P exam for Hearing loss the Doc told me he was ruling I’m my favor for Hearing loss and Hyperacusis. I also had a plethora of paperwork to back it up, Nexus letters and whatnot. A few weeks later I was scheduled for a C& P exam over the telephone for Migraines. When the doc called me she barely asked me any questions and must’ve said 10 times that she needed to finish reading the documents and paperwork I submitted. The whole thing lasted 5 min and at the end she said again that she needs to go thru my paperwork. Is this normal? I will be submitting another secondary claim for Depression and Anxiety very soon. Should I wait until these claims are finished before submitting more ? Thank u for your time.

What if the presumptive conditions is filed more than a year from discharge is it still eligible under the regular presumptive sc condition.

So since my ship was in Bahrain and UAE and territorial Waters thereof in 1991 and 1992 the glioblastoma I was diagnosed with in 2018 should qualify under the presumption of exposure right? I've already filed the claim on myhealthevet.
Should the fact that I had brain cancer push my claim to the front?

Hello I am an OIF II vet and with the recent PACT ACT could choroidal Melanoma (cancer in the eye) be considered as Head Cancer of any Type? I assume the eyes are in the head but does the VA?

I was told that If you are on the Burn pit registry you will get an appointment to go to the VA for an exam. You tell them there what your symptoms-problems are and then file a claim for it. He problem is if you are out of the service for more than 10 years you get nothing. If you were in Desert Storm or Desert Shield you are screwed cause it’s over 30 years ago.

You are mistaken. What was said was. Originally, if you wasn't diagnosed within 10 years after getting separated. You could not get anything. What years does not matter. But now. The PACT Act dissolves the 10 year limit. Now, you are eligible from 1990 to present. File your claim. Continue treatment. Good luck.

The VA stated that cancer claims that are covered in the PACT are going to be prioritized. Whatever that means. They stated that PACT claims will start in January.

I was denied 15 years ago for fibromyalgia & and diverticulitis, both were already presumptive. I applied again for fibro in 2016 & was approved, but since I filed within a year of getting out shouldn't I get effective date back to original claim

I question the Commanding Generals Mental State since he was also drinking the water, was he capable of making sound decisions back then. His solution was to kick Marines out for all the violence that happened on base. I'm a witness to the violence, saw it first hand! Time to throw the General under the bus!
