You could've stick the wood into water over night and then it would be flexible. Just fasten it tightly to the guitar with rubber bands so it'll have the shape and leave it to dry. Voila it'll shape without having to cut 200 pieces of wood
OH NO IT FELL IN. The amount of times my music teacher found me shaking an acoustic guitar over my head trying to retrieve the plectrum that I had just (accidentally) twanged into the guitar. Ahh the memories.
