I am from HK, we have streets and streets of grey market Rolex's and I can tell you now, unless there's someone who specifically wants that model, no one would pay 30K for that watch, let alone 40K.

Everyone wants to act like chrome isn’t a business that’s been going for 30+ years. 15 years ago these pieces were just sitting and now because some influencers flash them yall act like it’s the actual holy grail they sell. I love chrome hearts so much and at the end of the day it really only has the value someone is willing to pay to look like they’re it right now.
You have no idea about the chrome heart jewelry or accessories market people will pay way more then 40k for that watch they very rarely make 40mm and you have to know the owner to get specific watches

If the owner of the watch truly wasn’t desperate to get rid of the watch, he should have just walked away and shopped it for a better deal, or come back another day. The fact that Moses was able to negotiate all the way down from root beer plus 5000 to the coin flip tells me the owner was inexperienced or desperate. When in doubt, the best choice is often just walk away.
