Every time someone complains about my price I want, so bad, to tell them that the stuff doesn’t magically appear on my pallets. But I just keep stacking their wood and make soft grunts to acknowledge they are saying something.
The firewood grind for me is just about to start. December, i tried to get a section of the yard organized and cleaned up, and I did that not its time to split and stack as much as I can till Arpil and May.
im 38 yrs old run firewood becuase i own a tree service. the best thing to help you is a logrite hookaroon. sized from arm straight down to were the head is even with flat of your foot without hitting ground dont wait untill you you hurt your back lifting rounds. you can load your carry all table and logsplitter without bending over. both faster than by hand and eaiser on your body. its also way better than the log ox and those other "goofy" lifting tong type tools. takes a little practice but once you get youll never put down.
I have both the Bahco log tongs and the Logrite pickaroon. I use the tongs way more than the pickaroon. The tongs work way better on the smaller rounds like what was being processed here, than the pickaroon. I find that I spend more time pulling it out of the wood than just releasing it with the tongs. I use the pickaroon on the bigger, heavier rounds,…even if it’s just using it to roll the rounds to the splitter. It may take longer to roll them with it compared to using your hands,…but at least it keeps me from bending over.
Now if you can just get a processing table so you do not have to bend over to cut the rounds, your back will thank you very much in 20 years! I like the rest of your set up because you are getting exercise but not working your back too hard at all!. Best of luck in 2025....and keep grinding!
It's a splitforce. I only recently switched from Wolfe Ridge. Here my video ua-cam.com/video/qnmFRaDrF8o/v-deo.html I have some other vids of it running if you scroll back in my history you'll see some.

Keeping a clean yard is an ongoing job for me. I'm determined not to get it all junked up again.
That white oak there is something i wish i could get so much more of i have customers lined up but i cant get enough to keep their smokers going!
Pretty common here. I don't really get anyone asking for it specifically
I like your splitter set up. Have a good day
@@daveyslogging thanks!
Phil would it be easier to spit were you cut then bring splits to bin?❤
I don't know. Seems about the same as hauling the rounds.
Hey Phil!..... grind on
👍 happy new year. Have a safe and prosperous 2025🪵
Thanks Dan! Happy new year
👍🪵
It is if you use a chainsaw and splitter. Way less of a grind with a processor and a fast re-splitter! Just do it.
Man we got a grind X2: firewood AND UA-cam. All good times. Keep cuttin' brother!
@@TravisDoesFirewood and a farm, and a day job, and a family. Work piles up! Happy new year!
@WoodsTreeFarm likewise!

I have a pickaroon, not the logrite one, but it works good and I use it sometimes.

Logox or something comparable . Save that back .
I have a couple things and use them sometimes.
You're wasting your effort.
Re-read my earlier post to you.
Work smarter, not harder.
Give him time. You did give him a good idea. 😉👍
I'm always improving. I like your farm wagon idea.
